I didn't move/take any coin from my wallet.. Before I was staking almost every 2 days but now for almost 8 days none was been added. That's why I'm curious if anyone are still staking.

Thanks...

If nobody is staking, the network will freeze (in the same way as if nobody is mining, the PoW network will freeze). As long as transactions go through, someone is staking. You can actually see this from the block explorer:

http://ac.blockx.info/get/chain/AsiaCoin

The outstanding value increases every block, suggesting that there are people who are staking (we're now pure PoS so the any increase in coins is coming from staking).

--

What has happened is that all of your coins have staked once, and  now are waiting to be mature again (newly generated block from staking still take 2 weeks to mature). Once they're mature, you will see them staking again.

Great news Smiley soon the price will go up again Smiley
I have a question and i was hopping someone from the community to help me.

My wallet is not staking properly i think ....
i got my stake coins after the 14 days of maturing and after that 0 !
i remember the rate was 100% in the first month or i am wrong? Is there a new wallet i don't know of ?
Sorry guys for the questions but i really need help  Embarrassed
Thank you all

When you stake once, you need to wait for the coins to be mature again. The rate was, and still is, 100% per year, during the first two months.

Staking is actually random. However, when you do stake, your stake will be bigger and based
Why asiacoin is dead ? We have a great dev team ...
AsiaCoin is not dead but we are under a lot of manipulation on MintPal. We are on CoinPayments, we got the Android wallet and X11 multipool on their way.

I really hope investors of AsiaCoin do not sell for anything under 300 sats.

I keep all my coins but it's hard , I lost more than 50% =(
I am holding my ACs as well. My holdings grew since the community took over. We definitely need the community to get more active.

That would be nice. I get all these small transactions, especial from the POS interest. It would be nice to be able to easily combine them.

You don't need coin control to do that. You can just make a payment at the amount of your entire wallet to yourself, it basically groups all the small coin blocks and puts them into one big one, although as you stake, big blocks break and smaller blocks generate so it's really not necessary.

I thought I will post some clarification about PoS and staking that I got from Maestro1.

1. Proof of Stake (PoS) does not work exactly like bank interest. Bank interest is a layman analogy for PoS but they don't operate the same way. This is a common misconception that we noticed.

2. Closing the wallet app doesn't affect maturation of your AsiaCoin. Of course, you won't be able to stake when your wallet app is closed.

3. Once you received a stake for a particular block of coins, the old coins in that block are destroyed and recreated in the new block with the staked coins. The new block will need to mature for 14 days before it can start staking again.

Apparently, many altcoin investors have the misconception about PoS.

Dude, saying and doing are different things. Coding a wallet app is not the same as talking about it. We will need a developer who can code in Objective-C. It may be faster if we have some source code to work with instead of coding from scratch.

I just wrote to one of my buddys, who is programmer and can do this stuff. Also has experience at apple programming.

You think there could be made some bounty to give him something?

A bounty in AC is definitely will be given. Perhaps you can check with your programmer friend and have him contact us. Given the pace of the crypto-currency scene, the wallet has to be done quickly.

For iOS wallet, we'd give a 50k bounty for the wallet, 75k bounty if the wallet can stake as well.

If both of them are interested, we are looking to beef up numbers in the AsiaCoin Foundation. We are looking to start various projects so that we are work on various aspects to further the cause of AsiaCoin.
