thnx I informed him. The graphics guy is already on board. The coder is at work. will answer in perhabs an hour.
If both of them are interested, we are looking to beef up numbers in the AsiaCoin Foundation. We are looking to start various projects so that we are work on various aspects to further the cause of AsiaCoin.

Hi he took a look at the code on

https://github.com/micryon/AsiaCoinFix

question is if this all is needed for the wallet, or the wallet is only a small part of it? He is not into bitcoin right now.

That's the whole wallet, so what he needs to do is to somehow port the functionality to iOS, and create a simple UI for it that can connect to the wallet.

If you're happy with our work on AsiaCoin revival, please consider giving us trust feedback and provide donations to the new AsiaCoin Foundation.

That would be nice. I get all these small transactions, especial from the POS interest. It would be nice to be able to easily combine them.

Combine them? Can coin control do that?

You don't need coin control to do that. You can just make a payment at the amount of your entire wallet to yourself, it basically groups all the small coin blocks and puts them into one big one, although as you stake, big blocks break and smaller blocks generate so it's really not necessary.

I know that it can be done manually, but doing it can be made easier through coin control. I brought up the subject because a few days ago, I was reading about coin control and they discussed combining. They said that there are advantages. For one thing, during POS the larger blocks stake sooner, so you might get more interest. It can take days for the very small blocks to stake and many people don't leave their wallet open continuously. Another thing is that if the wallet is trying to stake many small blocks, it takes more computer resources than with larger blocks.

www.ezystorm.com new asiacoin mining pool
AsiaCoin is not minable at all as it is past Proof of Work phase.

Yeah, it's true that you can not mine Asiacoin, but you can mine at a multipool that mines dogecoin, and other POW coins, and then exchanges them for Asiacoins, for you. Hashcows does this. I've been "mining" Asiacoins there to increase my stash of them. I'm glad to see that there is now another place that does this for Asiacoins.

I looked at the Easystorm pool and it's easy. You don't need to open an account, just use these settings:

Configuration:

Username: your asiacoin wallet address
Password: anything
Algorithm: scrypt
URL: stratum+tcp://stratum.ezystorm.com:3000

The only problem with this kind of pool is that you end up with more and smaller transactions.

Please refer to http://www.thecoin.asia/asiacoin-staking-proof-of-stake-pos/ for the explanation on how PoS works. Basically, you staked and now your new block needs to mature for 2 weeks before it stakes again.

So it is a multipool? Anyone tried verifying? Without stats, it will be hard for miners to have confidence in the multipool. There were too many cases of pool owners running away with the coins of miners.

From the pool stats, it seems to be trying to mine AsiaCoin instead of being a multipool.

The coin is dead? low price, low volume Sad Sad Sad
Volume is definitely lower than what we want. However, the team is still working on new developments for the coin.

You will be able to see on GitHub that our developers are actively developing and rebasing the source code.

Yes, we are definitely not dead. In fact, we are listed within the top 40 coins on CoinGecko.

On a positive side, you could have ended up with a complete loss. The AsiaCoin Foundation has taken over and making a lot more progress than the scam developer. Besides, AsiaCoin is now accepted by CoinPayments and AltAccept payment processors.

You can still make good your investment by helping us spread the work of AsiaCoin Foundation. Wink

Guys,

We've been on the around 200s for a long time now, I think it's pretty much established as our absolute floor, it's time for all of us to start getting even more AC. Remember, the more AC the loyal members of community control, the better we can control the price.  Smiley
