there is no blacksheild yet,     And even if there was how could it be 'more' abused than our current situation.  If a big dumper wants to take on the Shield, go right ahead.   It will severely diminish they're coin supply in doing so and everyone will know you don't often get a chance to buy coins below the shield.

Why have thin support?  Only to lure out the big dumpers at the worst time?   To hell with that,  anyone who wants to sell this coin is crazy to me, and they should sell it sooner than later.

I actually wasn't sure if Black Shield started yet or not...

I also think a 'harpoon' is a good idea too - is that not something that is currently integrated within Black Shield? I thought I read about it or maybe I just thought about it?  Grin But I think a harpoon is another good way to take out fake sell walls - you see so many of them being placed strategically low only to be pulled a few minutes later when lower sell orders are added. What better way to take a bite of their stash and redistribute than snatch it up when it's posted because it also ends their manipulation attempt? I mean if you post bc for sale, you should be prepared to have them bought, no? It's not supposed to be a manipulation tool for whales with deep pockets, but that's what it's become. Granted we, as buyers, may not get the most for our blackcoin if we were waiting on a lower buy in price, and instead buy into a wall a little higher, but in the end, I think it makes our entire investment more secure by ending (or at least slowing down) manipulation, so is a worthy trade-off.

I'm more concerned at why I can see a dip to 26K during the big selloff... and yet my order at 27K never was filled on Mintpal?  Huh

I realize that with many cryptos that have a life expectancy of less than a year (less than 3 months in some cases) this type of market movement can be disturbing.  However, with BC this is a different situation. Unless you bought in at the top of a pump (either the 97K or the subsequent 58K pumps) with no additional investments to average down with... you really should either be even or still in the profits.

If you don't believe in any long term viability of BlackCoin, then 25% losses in a day should be frightening... at the same time, if that's the case, then you shouldn't have bought in to begin with.  If you are only jumping from one coin-of-the-day to the next in hopes of making millions overnight, you are 100X more likely of becoming whale food than you are of becoming a whale yourself.

In the "real world" investing in a mutual fund or stock that can return 10-20% per year is a massive win.  With BC those types of gains (or losses) are a weekly occurrence, and in some cases a daily one!  You can't expect something that goes from 15K to 42K in the space of a few days to never correct back to the mean... or at least you can rationally expect that. If you consider that the HIGH price during the first day of trading on Mintpal (5000 sat) to the lowest in the last week 14.8K on the 23rd still represents nearly a 300% gain this year... and to the lowest of the 'dump' yesterday (26.5K) represents over a 500% gain... I'm thinking we're doing just fine! Smiley

25-50% swings in the crypto world are similar in nature to pink sheets or early venture capital investments, private stock markets etc. this isn't new and isn't precedent setting in any way.

In early markets as the coins keep getting distributed, we keep seeing slightly higher lows from month to money.

Blackcoin is still very bullish after that sell off. Next week should be interesting. Test of 40k and i expect 50k in the near future.

also expect MBA and coinkite news.

May be able to contact support about that. Since your order has an active date.

My order at 27K filled. I still can't believe it filled.  Undecided

Yeah, I checked it - I'm screwed (OK not really considering I already have a pile of BC). Smiley

For whatever reason, the order shows as being placed at 17:20 on the 1st with the dip occurring at 16:20. So I guess it was after it reached that level... although my other orders filled prior to it on the way down at 30K and 29K and they show as filling at 17:09 and 17:16.

Apparently I was much more distracted today than I thought - but in any case my other orders are already in the black so I guess I'll just keep an eye on things in the future and chalk this up to a sleepy oversight.  Undecided

Just to tack on to what I was saying, if anyone is watching mintpal right now, we started to have some movement and broke up through 34k. Immediately sell walls were built of about 40btc worth all in a row and now price is back down to 32k. Just frustrating to see and not being able to harpoon into the wall a bit before it gets pulled. (Edit and it is almost all pulled now so guessing it's free from the whales for a bit).

15 BTC Buy Wall at 33.5K now.

Quote
The time to panic would have been if we sunk to 15k

I bought at 15k as it looked cheap, never was any reason to doubt or sell.  I generally go by the chart for predicting when it can rise more but also volume can matter presuming mintpal is the majority ?

This is a really easy coin to just buy and save.  If its cheap then you get twice as much then if it was 30k, great.   Its not like doge where there is tons and tons more coins.
The coins you sell are going to be the same ones coming back when you buy is how I figure it.     I ignore the 1% as that is so tiny, its like the transaction fee also not worth worrying about.
On some of my bitcoin accounts they are charging me over 2 dollars just to send some coins, terrible   most arent that bad but never does blackcoin cost me money like that or take half as long to clear.   So I think its the perfect coin to deal with.
In the end I'll change all or at least the majority of all my crypto into blackcoin,   Iam hoping people panic and I get it at half price though

I agree blackcoin is an amazing coin but there is alot of competition. One in particular coin that you should take note is silkcoin, they forked blackcoin, upped the interest to 2%, added wallet features and are actually in the middle of developing something that is ground breaking. Its own darknet, decentralized censor free space where there will be social networks, marketplaces, decentralized exchanges..etc based on the blockchain.

I believe it is undervalued and it is worth taking up some of your time just researching it.

Thank you for advertising a copy/paste coin in here, now where can i send my bitcoins?

....
June 30: $1.54
....
Maybe June will be more accurate Smiley
To be honest we can jump 2x-3x from now.
Getting even 2x will be great...
~2k~3k every week ^^

This is top 10 market cap here you don't have 10x pumps like in 20-100 market cap hit coin.

is it worth buying them now?
If pool hashrate will drop and then price will stabilize get in...

Or when another coin will get pump usually people are selling BC ...
then buying  back it after pump.
If you will be lucky you will get at 25k mayby but who knows.
Just wait pool drop in hashrate. Then will be opportunity.
