Really. It should have been working last month.. "should" means "we hope and we don't know yet". Would you invest in a car manufacturer who has proven that he can build cars with 50% of a motor and he does not know if he can get the rest done? I don't. However, i do not quite understand why i should give someone a friendly answer when he comes to a BC thread and talks about the superiority of DRK and BC having lost (whatever competition we should be in) while claiming that the DRK guys are more mature. I think it is rather the other way round, the DRK guys are an arrogant bunch who enter every thread and "jerk off in public" and i won't waste a friendly word on them. I agree, it's stupid to go back and forth but I have seen you bitching about DRK in here long before people starting coming over here and as a holder of both, you need to sit down and STFU. You clearly do not know what a testnet is and the resolve going forward. I'm sorry you passed on the opportunities that presented themselves for putting some money to work in DRK, but woe is life. Move on. There has already been enough drama following BC that everyone should just take a step back and grow the fuck up. +1 I would never tell someone to invest in DRK, to each his own. But I have been in BC from the start and have read EVERY post and this coin just starting to worry me, especially when the community started to split in 2 parties. Honestly, imo Coinkite is going to do nothing for this coin (and the addition is priced in anyway)Who knows/uses Coinkite? Not me and I know nobody either. Don't act like they are a big player and don't forget BC was not chosen to be added...it was bought! I could develop a shitcoin tomorrow and throw 25BTC to them to get added (no, I'm not going to do that) Than we have that PR firm, when I read what they are doing for 32k....what a joke-fest. You left the community and sold your coins (after creating a shit storm and throwing around baseless accusations) to go promote Liberty...refusing to answer any questions about refunding donations in the meantime. You won't create a shitcoin and spend 25 BTC for CoinKite because you just won't care about the coin, at all. But if you did, then you would. And guess what? BC did, which means there are people who really care about seeing this coin succeed and will pay a good amount of money out of their own pockets to see it happen. And BC may have got a large bargain with CK. As CK grows and becomes more successful, I doubt their entry fee will remain at 25 BTC. About a year from now coins will wish they could have spent only 25 BTC to get a partnership with CK. But as you know, the early adopters always win. By the time CK is proven to work very well and become adopted, the entry fee will be astronomical.  |

Defend it if you like, and if you think that the fact someone is trying to fix things makes up for the public release of an obviosuly not or badly tested mess, also Ok. Good night. Again, it wasn't premined. There was an instamine like many coins around the same time due to difficulty not scaling appropriately for the amount of hash, not helping was the lack of Windows wallet too. Then the decision to later reduce the max coinage made what coins already mined to be substantial. However, if you bothered to look at the distribution instead of crying premine, you'd see that those coins have long since been churned. But keep parroting the same shit... definitely makes you look ignorant on the subject at hand. Secondly, all coins will have issues or features that need to be addressed going forward at some point. DRK's dev Evan is at least trying to add features to his coin vs all the other bullshit coins out there that just copy and paste code. There were plenty of BC holders in here that wanted to copy Evan's work and add it as a feature to this coin. There is no doubt Rat4 is an amazing dev, but his work is doing different things for BC--BC is NOT DRK and it never will be. If fullfills a completely different niche yet there is all this comparison bullshit going on. Some people in here get it, others, not sure if they ever will. Again, I'm sorry you weren't apart of the run and you have this bitter grudge going on with DRK. |

I already told you that i don't buy things that don't work, and i am not into daytrading and the hunt for a double-up of money at all, i earn more than enough with my normal job. And: I am at some serious more profit with BC, did not sell a single coin though even on obvious p&d's (which would not be that easy to do if everyone did it that way....) All i do not like is people coming here and promoting something heavily in the wrong thread that additionally is at least currently "broken", and you can't discuss that away. |

rat4 is focusing on BC being best POS  coin simple. While POS have own problems he is working on security while others mostly just copy paste code. POS seciurity has o be tested and inproved becouse before BC not realy it wasn't tested improvment. DRK have its own way with darknet and darksend (if eg Anoncoin implemment zerocoin it will be huge competitor tor+annyous transaction) (but anon coins like zerocash and others are comming too) |

Neither doesn't saying something is broken (take a few seconds and read about the testing going on) when it isn't or that it's premined when it wasn't. I make plenty off my existing career as well, but that isn't stopping me from pushing my investments to being all they can be and I certainly am not going to discard one because I'm ignorant about things surrounding the community. I've made serious profit on BC, close to about $30k but have easily made more in DRK, over $80k. I maintain large positions in both and still see opportunity in both, again, two different niches. No one is saying you have to daytrade either, but if the reason you aren't putting anything to work in DRK is because you think it's features are broken then you clearly aren't taking enough time to do any due diligence. |
