I wonder whatever happened to talk of reopening the unmoderated thread? It doesn't take a genius to notice that activity here has ground to a juttering halt, and as far as I'm concerned bitcointalk is an excellent forum for discussion and following news/developments. Yes we will have the inevitable influx of PnD trolls returning but thats a small price to pay in my opinion - as a community I think we're stronger now than ever before and know exactly how to go about the business of developing this coin without feeding their fud. Any opinions on this would be welcomed, otherwise I'd really like to the business of exploring this as an imminent possibility. My guess would be he was simply posting a slightly misinterpreted comment regarding this perhaps:
Blackcoin iOS Tweet And on the subject of loose ends I wonder what became of this idea? As an iPhone user this would really really come in handy and make BC something I could actually use in the real world without lugging my laptop about. |

If blackcoin drops too far, too fast, sellers will dry up and market will bottom; a slow drop, mixed with hope of crypto being somebody should allow a nice orderly slide to a level of sufficient panic creating volatility.

Thanks I'm so not sure there was nothing good in that thread; in and amongst the trolling and misinformation there were loads of great discussions, debates, ideas, announcements, comments and more coming out of there. It was active, lively and thorough: something I've noticed with a few other coins (recently CannabisCoin) is that the switch to a moderated thread is immediately followed by lower levels of activity. If this is true this could be due to the fewer number of trolls, or that people can't find the new thread or whatever, but this has certainly happened over here. The reopening of that thread however would not necessitate the erasure of this one - we could have both running in tandem and keep this one open for serious discussion/focused topics or whatever. What do you think? |

if we reopen the "old one", the only reasonable way would be to merge this one into the old one.

All the best to you Vizque Cheers Contrary to popular belief I will still be around but I will be on the ground getting adoption and deployment sorted. These are the things that make a coin work and I plan on using all that I have learned and all the connections we have made to our advantage and get BC used |
