So guys Quazar is dead or still kicking?

I think quazar is alive, but hooked up to life support in an intensive care bed, not dead, but not living a high quality of life. Hopefully this will change with greater crypto adoption, I own many coins like quazar that have huge potential, they just need to survive long enough to get user base. As long as quazar has a small committed group of users it can still return x100 one day from here.

Good point, cpu mining is obviously a huge advantage to grow a community of decentralised users, there are many guys in the same position with idle PC's on 24/7 , might as well mine something like quazar and make a few bucks, plus support a genuine leaderless coin that would never be shutdown.

Does anyone know where i can find a wallet? (and eventually some peers for connection), i want to buy some QCN and i'd prefer cold storage instead of keeping it on the exchange wallet

As you may already know Minergate is only allowing users to withdraw to "bugged" chains ( QCN and DSH), read more :

https://www.reddit.com/r/QuazarCoin/comments/82vlix/circulating_supply_68m_how_9m_sell_orders_on/

https://www.reddit.com/r/DashCoin/comments/6d51yn/17600000_dsh_double_spent_on_minergate/

They are using their Minergate's configs ( own chains ) with total emission bigger than supply goals.

What we require from them?

- Allow mined coins to be withdrawn to non double spent chain prior their fork!

Their consequences?

-Federal Trade Comission complaint

( if you feel you have been scammed fill a complaint, https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/Information )

Hello,

I am trying to sync the blockchain, the last time it would sync was August 2018, it does not go past block 1079844, is there a way for you to let me know what I need to do so that I can sync? I did check out your website and it shows two new blocks mined except it doesn't ever sync to me.

I did try removing the blockchain and p2pstate.bin and poolstate.bin files, it just errors and says there are no peers. I put the synced up to block 1079844 chain back, still can't get anything it just sits there and gets nothing, then you can shutdown and save. Seems it can't see you, or we are on a different chain?

Hi guys,
We added replay attack protection option in Forknote. Now you can use it to safely send transactions to both chains if you have old wallet, without worrying someone will replay it on the concurrent blockchain.

Usage:

1. Download Forknote - https://github.com/forknote/forknote/releases/tag/2.1.2
2. Use the following config for the Quazarcoin Forknote blockchain - https://github.com/forknote/configs/blob/master/quazarcoin.replay_attack_protection.conf
3. Use the following config for the Quazarcoin Minergate blockchain - https://github.com/forknote/configs/blob/master/quazarcoin.minergate.replay_attack_protection.conf

Forknote will force you to mix your coins with outputs after the the fork height, making the transaction invalid on the other chain.

I have not done any of this, what is the state of my few coins? Can someone explain what happens when you use the Forknote instructions above. Does it somehow change the coins to another coin, or just an alternative blockchain? Was this done to mitigate the Minergate running a messed up or double spendable chain? This is hard to understand what to do.

Keep in mind Minergate's chain is bugged, is this minergate's second scam attempt?

Minergate is not the "original blockchain", same happened with DSH and possibly XDN.

Thanks for clarification and communicating on a confusing thread, I will have no choice but to HODL for my few sand grains (LOL) amount of coins and hope someone picks up where the dev left off, seems it is a good coin but had some bad luck. Is there anyway to sync the chain, or is it a fundamental that since no one is mining, then there is no one to confirm found blocks, so essentially until someone were to mine and confirm blocks on the original blockchain it would start to be able to work again? Or is it messed up from minergate problems? Thank you.

We want to be a very clear about it,

FIRST AT ALL, WE ARE NOT SCAM

We are a pool operator project for the community, helping developers, miners and all the community.

We work with developers of different projects to open the pool mining, in other cases we work with the community to help rescue projects like DSH or QCN

We are not related with MINERGATE and all the sources and blockchains has been pulled from  repositories posted from original developers in github

We do not accept at all that, in a not responsible manner the6temple call us scammers and we already filled the abuse complaint with moderators

We are open to discuss any related with our pools with all the community, feel free to join us on

pools: https://communitypool.org

Discord: https://discord.gg/88sZqyd

I hope this clarification and communication help resolving this confuse situation

Thank you for your attention at this matter

You should be filling complaint against Minergate and possibly Hitbtc not against me, state the people you are running Minergate's chain as you even called Dashcoin "Minergate's Dashcoin" on a new op.

Also your so called SECURE chains from Minergate have massive double spending, perhaps people can read:

"As you may already know Minergate is only allowing users to withdraw to "bugged" chains ( QCN and DSH), read more :

https://www.reddit.com/r/QuazarCoin/comments/82vlix/circulating_supply_68m_how_9m_sell_orders_on/

-Federal Trade Comission complaint

( if you feel you have been scammed fill a complaint, https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/Information )"

And determine who are the real scammers around here.
Quote
Note the blockchain that we are using is already updated and clean of any bug

Once again pay attention to this scammer word play. I will explain: -Their chain is secure after getting attacked, meaning it's not possible to use the same bug anymore however previously "bugged coins" remain there.

Minergate was closed years ago as it was hit by user indifference and lack of nethash. The namesake domain minergate was then created to take advantage of victimized miners who were still keeping to establish the connection with a then-closed pool. New malicious minergate domain attracted their hash under the guise that it was the original pool, and dispersed the hash to coins of scammers' personal preference.
