I've still not decided whether to buy. What would you advise me guys?

If I had some extra cash I would definitely be buying in some more. I am waiting for Coinbase to verify my bank so I can buy some BTC to use to buy XC. Now if you are buying to try to make money to pay bills or something, never do that. It is an investment and you need to do your research

I would suggest rather than using Coinbase to buy bitcoin, buy it off of an actual person through localbitcoins.com. The only reason I say that is because once your bank account's verified, it'll then take another week for you to get the bitcoin. Coinbase uses EFT bank transfers which is painfully slow. By the time you actually get the bitcoin XC could be at .01. If you buy off of someone on localbitcoins, you'll pay a little higher price, but you'll get the bitcoin in usually under an hour. Just a suggestion.

cool thanks

If you use local bitcoins I would only buy from folks with lots of feedback so you don't get scammed.

Sorry for the spam but I want XC added Tongue, thanks for the votes so far, please help by voting for XC on https://www.coinpayments.net so we can get added this week, its just takes 0.001 btc + fees (60 cents) and all money goes to charity.

The thing is, the vote is only 3 days from over. Their voting round last 2 weeks, and this one started on May 15.
Usually they add top 4-5 coins to their merchant chains, but unless we can reach that number, it would be a waste.

I have no doubt we would be top 1 if we had the full 2 weeks. But there are only 3 days left, which means we need at least 15-20 votes/ day to reach there. It is still doable given the current interest in XC.

Here is how to do it: VOTE FOR XC NOW at https://www.coinpayments.net/vote . TOP 4-5 COINS WILL BE ADDED TO THEIR MERCHANT CHAIN. ALL WE NEED IS ABOUT 60 VOTES.

Unlike those exchange sites vote, this only allows 1 vote for each ip address.
All it takes is 0.0011BTC, and a few mins of your time to do it.
Current vote status: https://www.coinpayments.net/vote-thanks

Step 1: Go to https://www.coinpayments.net/vote
Step 2: Select XC
Step 3: Click on the bottom "Submit Vote - 0.001BTC"
Step 4: Type in your email address and your name, and choose the coin you want to use to vote (0.001BTC or 0.0427190LTC or 991Doge)
Step 5: Click "Complete Donation"
Step 6: Send 0.0011BTC(0.0001 is transaction fee) to whatever the address they give you for your vote.
Step 7: Wait about 20 mins, and check your email to confirm your vote, and DONE

Step 7 is crucial. If you don't confirm it, it won't count.

And again make sure you confirm the vote! :-)

I did 2 vote.

Dev, as many new members are entering the community, I think now would be a good time to state clearly answers to the following questions:

1) How is XC's anonymous transfer superior to DRK's?
2) How are Xnodes superior to DRK's masternodes?
3) How soon can we expect Xnode implementation into the wallets?
4) Can you explain how this will all relate to your "block chain 2.0" project?

Also, I think it would be a good idea to add answers to these questions (but maybe without the DRK comparisons, your call) in the OP so new people don't have to keep filtering through the many pages.  This will help people more readily see why XC is currently the most undervalued, yet attractive altcoin on the market.  Thanks

Man, take off for a handful of days and this thread has exploded. Had to cut my trip short to get back home and re-target the mining farm due to the adjustment in PoW block height. Smiley

DEV, you're killing it man. Just killing it. Very fine job thus far.

@Teka - Awesome choice for a Com Manager imho.

In regards to the name... I personally still see no problem with just XC. A lot of major brands are known by their acronym much more so than their actual name.

Excited to see where this goes. BlockChain 2.0 has a lot of people on the edge of their seats, in and of itself. The xnode implementation just puts XC that much further ahead of the curve in it's design aspects. Even though I am a miner, I am happy with the adjustments. ASIC, FPGA, or otherwise, PoW needed to be handled. Glad to see it was done so in an expedited fashion. Starting to feel like I did when LTC was launched! Only even more excited... Cheesy

suprnova  thanks for shutting down my rented rigs

Always add workers BEFORE you rent the rigs - otherwise they'll automatically get temporary banned

damn i added them two days ago and now he cant mine there 5 coins and nothing but bs

I already mailed you that the was problems with the rigs you rented as they connected with no username, you replied with "fu" and "bye" - don't blame me for your rigs, i've tried anything for you to help !

sorry it wasn't your fault suprnova. I apologize. thank you.
