Hey everyone, i've been working on aligning both BOST and MAIA in terms of development progresses. I haven't got a detailed plan just yet but here are some bullet points of developments, which are more focused on security...

- Alignment of both BoostCoin & MaiaCoin development stages.
- New Chain parameters to help secure against malicious attacks
- New more diverse nodes
- New block explorer hosted within the bost.link framework
- BlockNet xBridge integration which will help to bridge both BOST and MAIA communities.
- Permanent Tor integration using the latest code, focusing more as a usable proxy on top of the obscurity it offers
- Android wallet
- more to TBA

We are having some difficulties on the BOST network, there is an incorrect network fork that some wallets are connected to. I am investigating if this has been maliciously caused, as some very strange things are happening on the BOST nodes and hosting. Until i can verify all this information, please do not deposit or withdraw coins in or out of BTC38.

If you already have coins on BTC38 you can continue trading, but please do not move coins in or out of BTC38 or between wallets, until this issue is resolved

BoostCoin cannot be mined, it is a Proof of Stake project. The Proof of Work phase finished over a year ago.
The blocks are created by an internal process based on the amount of coins you hold in your wallet and for how long.

Mandatory update coming soon to fix the forking issues currently on the network. All users 'MUST' update to be able to move coins between wallets and exchanges.
The block number showing on the original explorer and on BTC38 are the correct chain that the new block chain will be created from. If your wallet is showing a different number you must resync from the start. I will supply details on how to resync again, and also supply new bootstrap.dat file for user who need to resync their wallets against the new chain.

Your wallets may not show any connections while this issues is being fixed, as i have shut down all the back end nodes

Once again, please don't move any coins in or out of the exchanges, or between wallets until this mandatory update phase is complete and everyone is using the new wallets. Trading can continue on the exchanges but do not attempt to move coins between exchanges or wallets.

Proposal information:
The purpose of this post is to start discussions with the BOST communities about securing a new round of funding for the promotion and development of the BOST framework. Currently the majority of the BOST network and user populations are located in China. The next logical step for BOST is to increase it’s footprint in China and look at the viability of setting up local business that is focused more on the Chinese market.

Stakeholders:
BTC38 is a very important hub for users to meet and exchange information related to BOST and other exchangeable currencies. The fact that BoostCoin can be exchange to and from both CNY and BTC makes it a very liquid market with regular trading volumes sometimes exceeding the equivalent of 100,000 USD in 24 hours. We feel this is just the start and we intend to bolster the BTC38 markets by introducing more users and bringing over communities from other projects within the BOST framework.

Funding:
We have explored many different ideas for funding, e.g. direct BTC investment, donations and exploiting market fluctuations, but we think the most effective way to secure funding is to increase the total BOST in existence. Then use this new funding to re-invest in the business. We understand that increasing the overall supply will slightly dilute the current value of each BOST, but we know this will be counteracted by the increase in value of BOST due to the new business scope. This method is the most tangible method we have discussed internally, now its time for the BOST and BTC38 users to discuss within the QQ groups.
