400k?? If this hits 400 satoshis I'll buy a boat for me and give one away to one lucky member in this thread yeah.. this is not that far up. with only 22 mill and few going to dev and maintenance. its not a far stretch. at least the 900 btc buy volume shows that this is going to keep rising. |

As a developer these coins take time to code and add in new features etc... This balance has also been used to pay out a lot of compensation for people who have lost coins due to the relaunch of the coin on the 19th, (Yes i'm a developer who actually does that!) - 15 coins per PoW block to the foundation for long term support. The foundation only gets a very tiny % of PoS blocks Let me explain this in more detail: Developing and running a coin takes time and effort, the foundation balance is used for keeping the coin going and paying everyone who is involved or working on the team on a daily basis. So far we have 3 full time team members and a load more people working on single tasks for BoostCoin. this all costs money that the foundation supports, and if the coin really takes of do you think they will work for free? i dont think so.. At the time of writing this there is 123624 BOST in the foundation fund, which is far lower that everyone thinks due to the PoS block creation. PoS blocks have nothing to do with the percentage you are getting. They just lower the entire PoW subsidy. Not just for you, but for everyone.Everyone can judge their own if dev controlling 3.91% of all coins is very tiny or not. Im not going to comment on that. I just cleared up the facts. Did you provide any logs of how much you have compensated to early miners? Can we see the list of addresses as a proof please? I'd like to know the answers to this too. Thank you. I just bought a btc worth of boost, only because the dev seems to be good and active and doesnt have an anonymous screen name like 'boostdev', similar to how many other coins do, and also it hasnt hit mintpal yet.
I would like to invest a lot more, but I dont see any unique features or future implementation. Besides being the first X13 coin, what other features are unique about Boost? Once it goes POS what would differentiate it from other coins? Are there any future plans? Please let me know, thanks.

i think one of the best features is because of x13 it is multi pool proof. x11 is really mainstream meanwhile, it is getting raped by multipools, there are lots of scam's with pools not paying out because the admins have no clue etc.. you currently don't have that with x13 The dev has put up a bounty of 10k BOST to implement anonymous functions in the coin which is about 1.500 $ .. So this would be the first anonymous X13 PoW/PoS coin.. |
