The interest is based on how many active stakers there are, more stakers less interest. It has never been higher then 6% and as low as 2-3%, if there was only one person staking then it might go to 10% but I don't see that ever happening as we continue to add stakers and network continues to grow.

He is one of them and is apparently their slack manager. I'm thinking exciting things he was talking about are in large part related to a new bulldozer algo that will soon be adopted by VRC network but that is a subjective assumption. To know more about what is going on you need to get under the hood and inspect all the parts of the mechanism, to define for yourself if it still functions.

because that is what is unique about the vericoin system. Most coins are really only interbanks, while vericoin + verium is an interbank but also becomes your very own intrabank system.

How many confirmations does Vericoin require? This is outrageous. I used to send VRC in about 5 minutes from place to place. Today, I purchased some VRC on Bittrex and tried to deposit into Poloniex, and Poloniex says its requiring 250 confirmations. Now at 1.5 hours and still waiting. What the hell is wrong with that exchange?

Luckily I have screen shots.

VeriCoin is 10 confirmations, unfortunately we do not have control over how fast exchanges receive VRC.

Just sent VRC to our tipbot in slack and took less then 30 sec
