So someone intentionally keeps price somewhere at 15k so it is time to get back everything into my wallet, because this is a good sign that something is going on and that we should consider to not trade VRC to BTC at all. Let's keep it just like we keep BTC and few other coins. Value can only increase.

Some stuff is going down on Mintpal...I think the secret is out!
There is no trust in alt coins because of too many scams. That is why in retrospect it would have made more sense to buy CRYPT first and capitalize on its rally before investing in VRC because CRYPT already had its anon function out and working. Though too late now to do so. There probably is some smart person out there that bought XC early then sold at the peak then bought CRYPT early and sold over 100k then bought VRC. But it is not me, though I did buy XC early I held during the pump and didnt sell till it dropped to 100k. I also bought half my VRC at a really high price during the fontas pump (23k) and the other half at 8k. So I have made some really stupid mistakes but long term still looking good. If anyone did go XC > CRYPT > VRC they will probably be holding a million VRC right now. And there are three wallets with over a million VRC so there you go You sure about that? CRYPT hasn't had anon. They have a paper with stick figures proposing it. Show me their anon implementation working :-D How can anyone actually trust your closed source anonymous implementation? Ensuring secrets are kept safe is something that needs extensive details to properly prove. Disclaimer: I have obvious stakes in another currency

It depends on various things. For some time you just look at the market to understand what is going on. From 3000VRC I m now close to 7000VRC in short period of time. Those 3000 I buy for 0.03BTC and for now my best investment.

Looking forward to the testing and results. But one qualm - what prevents other alts from easily copying these capabilities?
The VeriSend and VeriBit are not open source. Nobody else has our code. We will release VeriSend API details but not VeriBit. That way there can be other mixing ringnodes that can be built based upon our framework so there is choice and openness with ANON but VeriBit is our own secret sauce and we won't be making it available for other coins. Thanks! I can hold a bit easier now.

A bunch of day traders are going to get caught `holding the bag` as they keep shorting these upward movements and once enough short bagholders are caught the price will rocket to 30k in minutes as the day traders cut their loss and buy back to catch the VRC train

Darksend uses masternodes and required a hard fork to get right. VeriSend uses ring nodes (similar in some ways but eternal mixing), anon via exchange, and anon via tx uncoupling as a hybrid super anonymous approach. NextCoin forging is similar except VeriCoin interest not only awards transaction fees but also Proof of Stake block rewards. Some stuff is going down on Mintpal...I think the secret is out!

That's why anyone can implement what we did for any coin without a hard fork and with enough work. We're going to be providing details on our mechanism so they can copy it if they want to. Centralization sucks, but if anyone can do it, it's not so "central" anymore.

Use half of amount you have, check what was the highest and what was the lowest price then according to that place positions at near values and don't look at it every second, just leave it for a night.
