Hello , please tell me where is now possible to mined Coino

...........................

Note that all COINO coins have been mined, so although you can create new blocks, they do not have any reward.

Now that explains a thing or two!................

The following section will be updated from time to time

For CPU/direct Wallet client "mining"/block-creating, remember to put  gen=1  in the above config file.  (I put more addnodes above to show the currenct active nodes.)   Cheesy

POW ended?

POW ended in April 2016

Only about 1 of the past 100 blocks has transactions attached. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cno/

Every few days, one of my CPU miners for CNO still yield some rewards, likely not new CNO's.

Grin
CNO CPU mining thru wallet client works well.  Great job.

Can some more previous working nodes come back to run a few days to help new explorer/nodes work?

All 3 new CNO nodes @Bitnodes are still not working. https://bitnodes.net/status/

The Cryptolite Explorer moved to a new site but still not working. http://seed2.cryptolife.net/coino-explorer/

3 of 4 of my CNO withdrawals @Cryptopia last night did not get processed.  Taking about more than 12 hours to go through.

I am going to start some campaigns first with a faucet and more to come. We probably need some dev helps, including some upgrade unless it is beyond resuscitation or repair.

Certainly we need to get CNO maintained well first.  Cheesy

Warning:

Do not use Web Wallet except for playing the game (to lose all in the end) unless it is officially fixed.

The  Coin(O)Slot game playing works. The deposit I made last year worked.

But When for the first time, I tested withdrawing from a web wallet to another wallet address, it failed, saying "insufficient fund."

========================================================
Please have it fixed, for heaven's sake.
May God bless us all.

Without a withdrawable Web Wallet, the (smartphone-based) Faucet:ReMining campaign could not work.  The plan schedule has to be pushed further into the future.  Wink

It seems to me that the price at Cryptopia is somehow stable, meaning that it floats between two not-too-far values. That is a good news, I think. Let's pump the market mates!

New promotions are starting.

 CNO Faucet <click here
There is a CNO faucet fully functioning.

The planned initial total deposit should reach 100,000 CNO, taking time to send CNO from Cryptopia. The withdrawal of CNO from there tends to be rather slow for amount > 10000 CNO.

The expected final total should reach >1 million CNO when the final promotion campaign starts in approximately 3 months.

The Block explorer there probably won't start the service in  2 weeks; only 3.3 % synced in 1/2 day. (Addendum: 23% synced in about 8 days as of 8/10/2016, likely taking more than additional 25 days to complete.)

This fact might explain why the 3 new nodes at the Bitnodes are still not working yet.

Enjoy.  Cheesy

A new CNO Web Wallet is up running. So far deposit works, showing on the explorer, but not on the web wallet yet, due to at least one confirmation required. It is sort of chicken-and-egg situation again. needs to be fixed

A lot my withdrawals from Cryptopia are still showing zero confirmation after a couple of days. (Those are just not constantly updated; The receiving wallet clients do show appropriate confirmations normally.)

Anyone running a wallet client please put

addnode=192.241.140.207   to your config file to improve the situation.

Again, hopefully usage and popularity will build up in 1-3 months as planned.  Smiley

I think it is time to consider starting a new thread with updated OP page so that any new comers and many of future mobile CNO wallet users won't be confused by the outdated info.

We are waiting too long.

At least starting a new thread with simple concise infos to start with (and added later or below.) We can always have anybody referred back to this thread for additional infos.

Any volunteers?

I will post a general road map for aggressive promotion of mobile use of CNO later.  Cheers.  Smiley

At the moment the market at Cryptopia is somehow showing a certain movement... buys and sells are taking place and so the daily volume is moving upwards.
I strongly encourage everyone to buy/sell their coins so to pump up the market and ease the rising of its value.

Have fun with COINO!

Road Map:
1. More CNO user: The CNO faucet balance size will reach > 1million CNO    and each faucet drip would be 100 CNO (yes) and equivalent of  100 x 50 satoshis  or 5000 sat or 0.00005 BTC per drip or 10000 sat daily (for twice a day) or 0.0001 BTC [or about 6 cent ($0.06) per day.]

Not counting likely future rise in value.

The CNO faucet would be quite unprecedented. The 100x2 CNO per day won't last too long. Most likely it will fluctuate between 100x2 CNO and 10x2 CNO for a while to attract users.

Do not worry about selling CNO cheap- it is like sending your CNO to the CNO faucet.  Cheesy

Road Map, step II:

Use web wallet.
Using the CNO jswallet to attract plenty of users.
The jswallet won't work unless the network and active confirmation of transactions works.
Again, we need more "mining" processing computers/network powers.

It's like giving 100-1000 persons $2 a month. More if the CNO values rise. For them, especially those who wants to hold and see the CNO value appreciates, its up to them to help to attract and promote [and possibly gaining more benefits through referral rewards (links to site sponsoring CNO ads.) ] If they want, they can sell CNO or use BTC through referral rewards to buy and support CNO.  Cheesy

Here is my question.

Right now the block # is 2,908,284
The max numbe of CNO is 100,000,000
1 block reward is 35 CNO
So, doing the math, 100,000,000 / 35 = some 2,857,142 blocks.

How come the actual block is more that the max block # with reward?!? Does it mean that there won't be any reward in case of mining?!?

CNO Mining
  • POW ended in April 2016
  • 100 million CNO mined
  • New blocks are created by continued "mining" with only rewards likely through processing fees, depending on the level of the network transaction activity.
Should we consider restarting POW at say fixed 2 CNO/block (without diluting the total CNO supply much, around 3% annually) or POS? This question has been asked by me before. The purpose is to keep the network more actively maintained.

Thanks for your prompt reply, first of all. I'd say POW, enabling miners to get a minimal reword. The goal at the moment is to stimulate and encourage miners to do their work, otherwise the CNO network is dead. Let's consider that at the moment I think I am the only miner...
