5k seems cheap. Just wait until block rewards lower!

10-15k will be cheap in coming times.

It's my first time mining x11 (switched from DOGE)... I THINK It's working. I'm mining at ~5.75 Mh/s and I seem to be getting about 3 accepted shares an hour. Does that seem right to anyone?
nope.. seems temp too high, what gpus and settings?

my 280x,
mines scrypt 730khs / 70c-75c
when mine x11 2.1mhs / 45c-50c

I guess you can try higher --engine-value for 280X to get a higher hashrate. I'm mining 2.250 MH/s, 65C at engine:1100 (Sapphire Dual-X 280x, 85% fan without any additional fan).

Cheap is a kind word for it. This coin is way undervalued at the moment and block halving is only 250 blocks away.

what for Cards do u have ?
your temperature is really high, x11 Needs less power and produces less temperature, proof your fan settings

I have two Gigabyte GV-R928XOC-3GD REV2 Radeon R9 280X and one Sapphire 100352-4L Radeon HD 7950.

Here's the fan and temp settings that were copied over from my cgminer config for mining DOGE.

"auto-fan" : true,
"auto-gpu" : true,
"gpu-fan" : "0-100,0-100,0-100",
"temp-cutoff" : "95,95,84",
"temp-overheat" : "90,90,80",
"temp-target" : "85,85,74",

My sgminer (Windows (SPH)) was retrieved from this document in the mining software section: http://suchpool.pw/docs/gettingstartedX11.pdf
It's version 4.1

[EDIT: added additional relevant config info]

Am I just pushing these things too hard?

"gpu-engine" : "0-1040,0-1040,0-1150",
"gpu-fan" : "0-100,0-100,0-100",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500,1500,1500",
"gpu-powertune" : "0,0,20",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"gpu-vddc" : "0.000,0.000,0.000",
"intensity" : "13,13,13",
"lookup-gap" : "2,2,2",
"thread-concurrency" : "8192,8192,8192",

What is the reason I should use/mine this coin above all the other coins?

+1
Yes what reason

The same as any coin? So you can dump it the minute it hits an exchange   Smiley

Hehe, nice one! Smiley

Heh, why would it be worth more? The coin doesn't bring anything new to the table and is going to die off in a few weeks IMO.

It's pretty much a pump n dump at this point.

What is the reason I should use/mine this coin above all the other coins?
