It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Because of all the interest, i've added some more nodes, in CN and EU... hoping to stop any bad forks on launch.

I'm thinking about delaying the windows wallet so all the solominers arent adding to the chaos?

THOUGHTS?

You can easily mine solo with linux/source wallet, dont get the logic behind this

Well unless you think of about 5 minutes difference so ppl that compile from source have a chance to do so then I'm totally behind you with that

Solominers are not the problem, problems are wrong configured pools (that dont allow incoming connections on the p2p-port), so don't worry about the solominers.

The "good" pools should come together and swap their IP's for themselves in their config-file (addnodes) than no fork will occur for sure.

NO !!! If you do that I am out (won't mine it and hope other will follow...)
But at some point I will install the necessary to compile the wallet for windows (like some others) in case of unfair launch,
I will make it even more unfair.  Grin (and actually I am doing it right now  Grin)

fairness is not in the people you exclude but in including the largest number
