any news??
Maybe you should ask Mike himself, his tweets indicate that he apologized for not paying out because he got scammed while he was trying to create a revenue stream, whatever that may be. I had the impression that the sale of domains was the revenue stream, but it sounds like he lost during (futures?) trading on OKcoin, so this rental period the payout may be low or nothing. I'll await the next period to see how Mike delivers on his promises. https://twitter.com/smokin35/status/567535528892198913

Eitherway, I'm still trying to get an answer from Mike to know if there's any way I can check which BTC adress I have associated with my SYNC Rental. Which should be pretty simple, but so far no answer.

What I want to know is: Is there another rental period starting... do we need to re-register??
From what Mike defined earlier the rental period would restart automatically with the only requirement that you initially registered and that you keep at least 3 SYNC in your wallet or disqualify yourself. If you have more than 3 SYNC at the moment that he decides the rental period (random duration, no more than 90 days) ends, then you get paid for the actual amount you hold at that moment. I have noticed an uptick of people buying SYNC - probably for exactly that reason: the end of the rental period. I expect that Mike will stay his word and keeps continuing rental periods with payouts of the assets that the sync fund is holding for this purpose and not making excuses about wasting the committed income on risky transactions to try and create more money. If he does not, he is not just breaking his word but he puts himself on a direct road to court, because all the info is out there about his promises and the websites that are part of the asset pool and the sold ones that should result in payments. If he decides to "borrow" money from the sale and conduct risky business with that committed money then that is his responsibility. If he fails, he still owes the committed payouts because that is his promise. So, I hope that he clarifies how he is going to make good and continue the series of rental periods or how he thinks he will face the court claims. It is really easy to get the money that you are owed in small claims court. Especially with public promises as made for SYNC rental.

The current SYNC rental period started on Nov 20, so before Feb 18 closes we should have clarity and another deposit of the last sold domain. It is less than 4 weeks - looking forward to another payment!
I remember Mike saying something about the payment dates for the rentals being random from now on. So I'm not sure we can count on Feb 18th. Yep, he wanted to avoid people going selling their SYNC and then coming back just before the rental payout date and buying back in, so he made it random - any time between 1 to 90 days. The 90th day is Feb 18, so that is why I said that we should hear from him before Feb 18 is passed. It could be tomorrow - any day now, really. I'm guessing there won't be any payments this month, but I think we're due a statement from Mike on this thread imho.

Btw, I tried to asking this to Mike but still no answer... maybe someone here knows: Is there any way of checking which BTC adress you have linked to your SYNC Rental account?
I just now checked and the only place that I can find my SYNC address is in the email that I sent to the Sync Fund initially for "Profits Enrollment" on 8/4/14 and again in the re-registration for the rental program, 3 months ago. If you have your old (sent) emails then you can find the address in there, then check the SYNC block chain how much that is in that address, then go to your wallet, enable Coin Control and check if you have accidentally put any SYNC into another address if the wallet balance is different than you see in the block chain for your Syncfund address. Hope this helps!

I enrolled through the website's submission form. Only have the "Welcome to Sync Rental" email.

Wish we would get something official about the rental payments etc though What I deduced from Mike's earlier statements on twitter regarding him getting scammed and/or rekt is that there won't be any Rental payments this time. But don't quote me on that... just an assumption.

Oh alright! That'd be great, but his tweet might be just about his own money, not SYNC's. We'll see. EDIT: He deleted the tweet.

The money he lost was a sync rental payout lol. I don't care either way. He can make money by the sounds of it. Good luck to him. Sync might have a chance...
