Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

TMB was on it at launch. You'd be surprised now to find a coin launch without multipools "attacking it"

Also blaming bittrex is sorta silly. They are a business out for money. They're actually smart to put everything up as quickly as they can knowing almost all of these altcoins are pure shit.

It's weird. The price is around 1 BTC so mining this feels like mining bitcoin. Smiley

can someone explain after 5days can you still mine this  thanks

after block 7200 (approx.) 5 days its unminable , it will go over into a POS (prove of stake) minTing

Minting is like getting a % of the coins what you have like interrest.

** Edit **

It can be mined by a multipool what the multipool does it mines the most profitable coin and transfer it to btc then buy
Sync coins from it and you g et your share

Before POW period is over you can continue to mine at http://sync.multipoolmining.com! (opening soon, no site yet!!)
See our current dev work tilll sofar here:

Th Sync multipool will be opening soon!! Stay tuned in this topic!

Got error when compile source from git

RCC: Error in 'src/qt/bitcoin.qrc': Cannot find file 'res/icons/Sync.png'
RCC: Error in 'src/qt/bitcoin.qrc': Cannot find file 'res/icons/Sync-16.png'
RCC: Error in 'src/qt/bitcoin.qrc': Cannot find file 'res/icons/Sync.png'
RCC: Error in 'src/qt/bitcoin.qrc': Cannot find file 'res/icons/Sync-16.png'

Rename the sync.png to Sync.png . Do it with all the images because Linux is case sensitive.

I got another error /sync/src/leveldb/libleveldb.a] Error 2
I go to sleep and  compile wallet tomorow. Maybe source get fixed.

Bittrex is a kickass exchange.

This corporate empire of three city states controls the world economically through London’s inner city, militarily through the District of Columbia, and spiritually through the Vatican

Hold up. That's not right.

Bittrex are great.

I think this is good for the coin.  It will see volume and volume is going to make this thing skyrocket.  Mintpal will pick this up in a day.

Specifications
Algorithm: X11
Total coins: 1,000
Proof of Stake Reward:  1% per year
Block Time:  60 seconds
Coin Maturity: 50 blocks
Min Coin Age: 6 hours
Coin Age Maturity: 30 days
Min Tx Fee: 0.00000001 SYNC
Premine: 0.5%

The total amount of coins for mining is 1,000, but the total coins is actually 10,000 as seen here

also that would make the premine at 0.05% so even better
