Why not CP210 Silabs USB comm driver, is zdiag a device or cgminer requirement ?

I run 3 hubs with U1's & U2's and still a few BE's on them and zdiag always messes up my hubs.

Wxp laptop runnin em now.

Last time I tried zdiag I had many issues, now I stick to ethernet or USB devices only.

WinUSB is just a requirement of cgminer on windows. Zadig is not required, it's just the easiest solution right now. You may run into issues if you install FTDI drivers for BFGMiner first then Winusb, were you have to reinstall Winusb for each new device you plug in. The best way to get around this is to completely uninstall FTDI drivers from device manager before installing WinUSB for your first device.

Also, my first revision of a full installation package for Windows is available for download.

The package installs cgminer and zadig on the users machine, giving them dialog prompts for pool and overclocking settings. Those settings will be replaced in the cg.cmd file and a shortcut added to the desktop and start menu(As well as one for zadig). Hopefully this will make installation and setup easier for you and your customers:

Had so many issues making novell work on BBS cdrom jukeboxes in the day, thought linux was same and never got into it. I learned to make windows behave how I want instead.

Edit: 12v brick is how many amps ? 12v 60w = 2amps ? need to see if I have any laying around in storage.

That's it.  One of these replaces all my USB sticks at a fraction of the power, many of which you sold me.  Now the U1's and friends can join the erupters in the scrap pile.  The R-box will pay for itself in saved electricity real quick.  The wife doesn't notice the gridseeds and the R-box is little different.  She would notice a S1/2 windtunel

I will keep feeding the cube that is still barely paying for it self but not for long.

shoot me a pm.  my interest has perked up a bit on these  if a brick can do 39 watts and 32 gh.  a psu can do a lot better.


I would buy 2 and do a 5 or 6 picture  printout on this thread.

 I wonder if you could do 2 at 64 gh and 66- 70 watts on a good psu.

A miner could  send one to a small easy pool like bitminter and use the other for solo mining.

Think I found what I needed in an earlier post...

4) Optionally, you can add "--anu-freq XXX" as a parameter for overclocking. Replace XXX with current valid clock values of 270-290

I am running Win7 x64. I can enter --anu-freq XXX anywhere in the config file? I have minimal experience using cgminer, so any tips would be appreciated. I use MultiMiner and will most likely supply the developer an R-Box unit for integrating control into MultiMiner, if possible as MM uses BFGminer. One can hope!

I've got an even easier solution for you. Run the installer package from my second post. I have a dialog with a drop down for frequency. Cgminer is installed and configured for you and a shortcut created on the desktop and in the start menu.

 good I will test it with 3 or 4 frequencies..   I am hoping these will do close to 1 watt 1 gh with a plat psu on the correct freq.

Sorry, didn't realize that. No, the default install dir is under program files\cgminer. Edit cg.cmd and modify the last string. Rockminer does not recommend going over 290.
