new accounts are also welcome, as is catering for the range of existing customers

I don't understand what that means.  Are you simply saying that customers who currently have more than 100 BTC on deposit can keep it on deposit but not increase the amount?
If you have less than 100 BTC on deposit, you can increase your deposit up to 100 BTC by using the same address you were already given. No need to check in--just do it.

If you have more than 100 BTC already on deposit, you will need to check with PatrickHarnett first.

What they said.

Part of the thinking behind Starfish is that:
1) It provides people wanting to park a few coins somewhere they can do that without too much trouble.
2) It recognises that existing customers are valued and where possible additional large deposits will be taken ahead of new accounts wanting to deposit large sums.
3) Gives a reasonable allowance for people up to the current limit of 2000 coins per account.

Not all of the deposit business is profitable (or not as profitable as I would like), therefore a portion of it is more like a "service" where I don't expect a return.

I will be mostly off-line/limited contact for the next 24-36 hours as I have an errand to run out of town.

I was just wondering if borrowing -15 BTC is the same as lending +15 BTC.  Wink

Weekly interest for those on that option has been paid.  As this is the first week at 1%, please let me know if I've made any mistakes (they happen).

Also, current balances have been updated: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=61262.msg981017#msg981017

So since you have 4500 btc until you hit your max I assume I can put more coins in without asking? (although I am asking)
Can I open another "account" that pays out weekly as well as keep the current one that coupounds?

I need to update availability, despite paying out a few large deposits, it has shrunk to 4000 and I am not actively looking for coins for deposits currently, otherwise I have several people that would want to add several thousand and I'm trying to keep some availability for small accounts.

However, I see your account is modest, and up to a combined 500 coins I wouldn't have any particular problems running it in two halves given I opened a pair of sub-accounts for someone this week.

My deposit isn't shown there. Not really an issue to me, just making sure it wasn't lost or forgotten about.

List updated.  There were a lot of changes this week with the interest rate change and things didn't run as smoothly as I would have liked.  Thank you to everyone that has pointed out the gaps.

I have a couple of "high-risk" accounts.
