bter got hacked it seems, now there is no exchange for trading SLM for the moment Seems so. Won't help much with getting added to coinmarketcap.com either. getting added to poloniex, bittrex or cryptsy would be nice, or even just c-cex

Bad luck with BTER. Is there any descentralized Marketplace, until there is a new exchange or BTER comes back? OpenBazaar and the NXT Marketplace come to my mind, but I don't know if they are suitable for cryptocurrency trading. Also, perhaps SLM can get added to SuperNet, as it has "unique features" (the main requirement to get added there). The only problem could be the very informal development team. PS: SuperNet seems to be still far away from cross-blockchain trading ("ATOMIC"). So it wouldn't solve the problem, for now. PS2: But what they already have is the "Multigateway". Perhaps it is possible to get a "home" there? I could politely ask there, as I'm a NXT'er too PS3: Although BTER is offline (and it looks pretty bad), the SLM difficulty keeps going up. That's a good sign!

I haven't been following everything too closely, but assuming slimcoin.club is correct (and I think it is), there are 2151115 SLM total. You can see it by going to slimcoin.club then clicking brainwallet, and just typing any random string in key generation. sorry, I have no idea what the last price was.

The last price from bter was approximately 2500 satoshis. But take into regard that the trading volume was very low. So it might be hard to tell whether that price was realistic or made up... I'm glad to see that there's another exchange trading SLM! Hooray, C-CEX!

Thanks C-Cex! You can find the historical BTER charts for SLM here: http://cryptocoincharts.info/pair/slm/btc/bter/10-daysThere, last price is at 2900 satoshis. But If I remember right it was the last ask price, bids were a little bit lower.

thought this coin were dead saw it on ccex and thought woot wheres my wallet but i can't get it to sync downloaded wallet and chain snapshot from http://slimcoin.club deleted contents of slimcoin directory (backed up wallet.dat) extract the snapshot and run the wallet, it gets stuck at block 237547. I've tried 4 times in the past 10 hours and it always gets stuck there, so i tried the older blockchain snapshot and it also got stuck but at a much earlier block running on windows 8.1 X64 using qt 0.4.0 wallet, conf: addnode=37.187.100.75:41682 addnode=5.9.81.9:41682 addnode=188.16.203.240:41682 any ideas?

Looks like we are partly Sporked and the network is 'out of sync.' again (with lots of new client wallets on catch-up).
Probably a mismatch between folks running Slimcoin-Qt 0.3.2.1 or Slimcoin-Qt 0.4.0-alpha (which we don't know is fully stable yet).
Bchain.info and Slimcoin.club Block Explorers are running at the same (correct) block height.
I had also switched to Slimcoin-Qt 0.4.0-alpha and both my VPS and main node went out of sync.
I'm going to clear my Slimcoin directory and try syncing from the 236000 Snapshot from Slimcoin.club - going back to running Slimcoin-Qt 0.3.2.1 which we know is stable.

Yep. Back in sync. on both my nodes. Run Slimcoin-Qt 0.3.2.1 from Slimcoin.club Download and copy the 236000 Blockchain Snapshot into your > AppData > Roaming > SLIMCoin (folder). Delete the addr.dat slimcoin.conf: listen=0addnode=37.187.100.75 addnode=5.9.81.9 addnode=188.16.203.240 addnode=192.3.21.71 addnode=85.152.4.141 addnode=108.61.197.252reservebalance=100000 If you get stuck downloading the blockchain for more than 15 mins. then close the client, delete addr.dat again and restart, repeat this until your block height matches: https://bchain.info/SLM/Welcome to Slimcoin ! @CryptoHobo EDIT: If you have a wallet with a current balance and/or Effective Burnt Coins I would advise making a back-up of the wallet and syncing the client with a fresh 0 balance wallet.dat - then restarting the client replacing your main wallet and doing a --rescan on first start-up. Cheers!

Sad to see SLM on maintainance all the time on c-cex Looks like they have the wrong block height and are probably out of sync or still syncing with the network. They might be running Slimcoin-Qt 0.4.0-alpha with the old daemon and therefore having trouble syncing. Could you let them know they need to downgrade their Slimcoin wallet !

What is Slimcoin 0.4? gjhiggins' version? I see it on slimcoin.club, but what codebase uses it? The kryptoslab github repo is still unchanged.

SLM block chain on c-cex.com is synced. Happy trading! Good to see Bter might be comming back if people don't panic, now only CNY, USD and NXT to withdraw or trade..
