That worked, thanks!

Let's see how long it takes for this to crash.
Abandoned project much?

Price on BTER basically went down to 0. Only very few bids around.

Shocked, TWC supports Slim? Prepare for panic buy Cheesy

PS: I'm only joking. We need a dev to stabilize the coin first. If the old dev lefts, anyone with experience in core function will step up as lead dev? I think we need to remove PoS, the source of all errors.

Poloniex would be the best bet.  They latch on to innovation, but SLIM has no volume...

The dev has left. No one with skill will step up ? People don't buy because the wallet is buggy and the dev is nowhere to find.

he didn't leave, he said he will keep it alive, but won't do new improvements for the time being. hoping others will take over.

He said that, but I'm not exactly holding my breath. Even when he was here it seems he bit off a bit more than he can chew.  I'm hoping a competent and present development team takes over.

edit: almost forgot to ask- anyone else getting a checkpoint error even though the blockchain seems to be up to date?

Always had that.

I'm getting crashes again. Frustrating. Dev is a jerk for starting something and then just letting it die. (Probably after cashing out just like all of them.)

I mean the PoB idea is a good one, I wish I knew how to code to steal it

Is it forked?

I'm at block "111914"

Difficulty seems to be going around 0.05 for weeks, i'm only getting a warning now about a too old checkpoint.
Slimcoin has to add it and deploy a new minor version

"difficulty" : 0.04994250,
"errors" : "WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers of the i

Its too late, everyone gave up except a few stubborn donkeys Smiley

PS. You were active in shinycoin thread where i called out devs shill accounts, etc. Turns out dev was a scammer afterall... I deserve a positive feedback (to negate the negative given by the mod.), so feel free to +rep me ! Smiley

Seriously if this crap forked again I'm probably going to leave it.

I try to run the wallet at all times but this is just ridiculous. It's a gamble on this coin ever succeeding, using my time. Doesn't look like that is ever going to happen. Maybe someone implements a similar feature in a new coin. But I think there are other PoB coins out there already.

It sucks that I've lost a bit of money here. Put in a little.. but this is bitcointalk. Where hope goes to die and scammers thrive.
I bet the original dev cashed out while it was possible. Now there are literally no buy orders anywhere.

one of my nodes got stuck at 111900s as well a couple of hours ago; though i suppose it might have resolved since you guys mentioned this almost half a day ago.

the latest version by dev on github "v0.3.2.0-6-gafd8ef7-dirty-alpha" seems quite stable. haven't had it give me any problems for quite a while.

all these seem to be listeners and have synced up to at least 112489 on my peer list.
