Tried that here in Singapore, but none of them are ready to accept BTC. They are saying that the volatility in the exchange rate scares them more than anything else. I even tried to sweeten up the deal by offering a 10% markup, but still my proposal got refused. Finally I had to use hard cash.

Yes i am using my some bitcoins investing them in some of my favorite ICO's and also hold my maximum number of bitcoins for future work because i am waiting of the highest price of bitcoins when the price will increased then i will start investing maximum bitcoins and will plan to invest in a big ICO's.

I also think that at the moment, the price of bitcoin is far from reaching the end, and long-term investors can continue to hold and ignore short-term fluctuations.I'm still buying bitcoins.

Agree! I waited for bitcoin to reach $5,000 before I started using it to buy the things I need every week. The bitcoin I earned from signature campaign was saved and then I slowly converted little amount when my target price was hit. All the wait was worth it.

Whether or not we convert our bitcoins to fiat for emergency purposes, in the end we tend to regret it since we waste its potential value from further increasing. But that decision was essential for the satisfaction of your emergency situation or monthly obligations. It really depends on the individual on how they utilize their bitcoin, especially when they tend to be in a tight financial situation. The obvious choice is simply to convert your btcs to fiat.
