Great site and product. This type of product is the perfect use for Bitcoin. Not illegal but you still may not want to put it on your credit card. It's not necessary to pay your monthly cable bill with Bitcoin. In fact, you might even want to automate the monthly payment which Bitcoin can't do.
Do you really think, it is that hard to write a program, that sends Bitcoins monthly? Yeah, I think a psychic program that can read your fucking cable bill from the mailbox and then send the right amount from your dinosaur Bitcoin QT wallet every month might be a little difficult. Or were you going to just give the cable company access to your Bitcoin wallet with no fraud controls like a bank account has and let them just take whatever they want to take out every month? I have contested overcharges for auto payments with my bank and they have sided with me every fucking time. Who am I supposed to file a complaint with if I auto pay with Bitcoin? Gavin? Think he'll give my money back? Get a grip. I love Bitcoin but I don't want it to fuck me at night because it doesn't have a pussy. There are limitations to everything. In Austria with most services, you pay the same amount of money every month, and at the end of the year you get back, what you paid too much or pay what you paid too less. But still whatever kind of auto payment you might use, for monthly payments in BTC, that are not fixed, Overcharging is still illegal. If you just go to the bank and let them take back your transaction, the company just sues you. You make it sound like the bank decides, if a payment request is valid or not, which is pretty fucked up. Austria sounds like a great place to live. I'm from the untied states of Americunt and we have something called pay per view. My cable bill hasn't been the same for any month since I set up the service. My electric, gas, water, trash or any of my auto payment bills are never the same. My power company is called PG&E (possibly the worst company in Americunt - see Erin Brockovich story). They once auto debited over $3,100 from my account mistakenly. When I called them to correct the error they said, "oops, well you have a credit with us now. You're credit will automatically be used for your future payments". That would have meant a credit lasting over two years. I called my bank manager, filed a fraud complaint and he reversed the debit. Fixed.

A guy that I know, does spend his BItcoin like this.
He likes his Bitcoin's and would like to hold, but also spend them. So when he is seeing something that he wants to buy, or wants to order food he pays this with bitcoin,(if possible) then after he bought it, he buys back new bitcoin's for the same amount of what he just spend on the item.
Pizza: 0.0151746 BTC = 10$ Buys: 0.0151746 BTC back, so he doesn't loose his bitcoins, but he keeps the market moving around.
unfortunately in my country bitcoin is not legal, if it were legal I would buy food and other uses bitcoin

Bitcoin is about "control your own money", so auto payment system is pretty much against that, as youa re not in control anymore.
But, for many services there is eather flat rate payment system, or system that lets you pay certain amount and than every 3-4 months recalculates what you spend and how much you payed and than sends bill with difference (or doesnt send bill if you overpayed. In those cases user side auto payment is fesable. But, as BTC user i do not want that. I want to be only one to decide when and how much i pay.

My adult store has turned over nearly 50 BTC it its first year so people do use it to buy stuff. We don't take Bitpay and even pay our supplier in BTC so yes it an be done and people do spend the coins. Shameless plug for Bitcoin Sex Toys. seriously, wtf is THAT http://www.cryptosextoys.com/dildo-gas-mask?search=dildo :D ur dildos r pretty expensive though the cheapest one is about 40$ .. check this http://www.bspend.com/market?category=All+categories&q=%5Bu%27dildo%27%5D&query=dildo&page=1&sorttype=price&sortorder=ascit's mostly cheap stuff from dinodirect (hong kong) though some of it is coming from overstock etc .. if u'r interested we could list stuff form ur market as well, looks to be more expensive but also better quality. i'm also thinking of adding some sort of featured section for listings at the top. if you're interested in listing products on bspend, just add "listed on bspend" small button somewhere on ur site and give me some sort of datafile with product info so that i don't have to crawl ur site. possibly i could later add some of ur products to the featured section Thanks for the feedback! But $40 yesterday may not be $40 today, we are coin holding site we don't use Bitpay to insta convert so there is some slight hedging. http://www.cryptosextoys.com/ladies/penis-dildos?sort=p.price&order=ASC we do have some cheaper stuff starting at around $20. Great site and product. This type of product is the perfect use for Bitcoin. Not illegal but you still may not want to put it on your credit card. It's not necessary to pay your monthly cable bill with Bitcoin. In fact, you might even want to automate the monthly payment which Bitcoin can't do. I don't care if my cable company is on my bank statement but one ounce of weed, pussy.com or rubber dicks might not be such a good idea. Congrats on the great store. Thanks for the support and feedback!

As everyone knows one of the major problems with Bitcoin economy is hoarding. The idea of this poll is to find out whether the lack of spending in the BTC economy is mainly due to the lack of acceptance of Bitcoin payments, or is it that people can actually buy a good deal of stuff that they need with BTC but choose not to.
In my country very few who accept bitcoin, and even then only in big cities. and people tend to be afraid to undertake online transactions due to fraud committed by the nosy. I personally have been no purchases of goods or services because my stock btc also not sufficient to buy it: D I just bought another coin to coin-exchange again later

I use it for all my online purchases. I don't have a Paypal account anymore and I refuse to do business with any online store that doesn't take Bitcoin. The hassle and problems involved with Paypal and credit cards simply aren't worth it. If they don't take BTC, they don't take my money
