I am still struggling to find good sites which accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment. I am from outside the US. And most of the sites which accept Bitcoins (such as Dell and Expedia) limits that option to customers within the US only. I have tried Overstock, but the stuff there is slightly more expensive, than it is in other stores.

I don't spend this little that I have, main reason why is because I'm waiting to have enough and to be able to buy what I want, which is a high photography camera. When both of those conditions are met I'll spend my bitcoins and have a camera to play, good enough for me. Even though I don't think it will happen soon.

I'm definitely in the accumulation phase of my Bitcoin experience.
But, I completely agree with the "do as you do" folks. Spending is good for the Bitcoin economy, just as spending is good for the US (or any other country's) economy.
is it? i actually don't know. the vast majority of merchants accept bitcoin through bitpay or coinbase. they, in turn, provide the merchants with fiat (they sell or hold to sell later). what we don't know much about is off-exchange demand then. The way to get past this point leading up to full adoption is to spend, spend, spend! The more we consumers demand payment in BTC the more merchants that will want to accept it and the more the marketplace expands its use the more the merchants don't have to change their take in BTC into fiat to find greater use out of it. We need to think of BTC as an isolated economy and then do the things that isolated economies do the expand their economy...more trade, more activity, easier access to BTC, etc.

I have been using some BTC to play primedice 3, but other than that I have basically been just buying BTC and holding it. I keep buying every time we dip below $400 because it brings my dollar cost average down.
My dollar cost average used to be about $250, but it kept creeping up when I added BTC as the prices kept increasing. I think that anyone that believes in the long term success of BTC should be buying all they can right now...

Buying btc and holding it is the first and the evergreen tip to every case. But you need a costant entry

I actually have a lot to lose btc from gambling sites, such as primedice3 or 999dice. now I try to avoid such sites. pretty much play and win here. but so many have failed. including me: D

Without a verified paypal account we'll do 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Verification is a must to a (partial) protection during a payment.

However the news are still positive as it's free advertising for BTC overall.
