If I was to invest in a coin,I would not be smearing it at every turn. Just food for thought as people read through this, you can see who is driving the price down on purpose and who just wants to see this coin fail. I believe in this coin and will be buying more on Monday. Each his own I guess.

This.  Seriously asking questions and reporting bugs are great and helpful but some posters are getting out of hand.  If you don't want the coin to succeed sell your coins and leave.  If you do stop smearing it everytime you run into a bug.  Bugs are gonna happen, go look at any other coin thread including the top volume coins.  Report them, pm the dev but stop cussing at everyone and smearing the coin it doesn't help anything.

Honestly most people are used to installing a wallet and not having to add nodes or change config files. These are problems and they should be immediately fixed or an announcement should be made that it can't be. I really hope the wallet issue gets fixed because this coin could really become popular, but I get the feeling that the wallet issue is being ignored.

Guys.

I don't know how to post a screen shot but pos is working.

Its not like im used to however lots of small transactions, ve had 2 large drops one for 8 distro and the other for 9. They were separated by 24 hrs or so but it does work.

Im on the latest wallet if that helps.

My advice is this, update the wallet, encrypt it open it up and be patient.

All this wallet dosnt work stuff is bad for the coin and price!!

EDIT: I know its frustrating and ive been there with wallets not working but the more I think about it if we KEEP on posting wallet this and wallet that it givesno confidence to the coin. Im sure the dev team are working hard to rectify whatever issues individuals have.

well could you please post your conf file for us to look at ?
do we need to add nodes to it ? i cant recall any nodes that need adding being posted?
ive tried 2x win7 machines, 5 VMs of ubuntu (2 versions), a win 8.1 VM, and still it doesnt work..

the screenshot that people keep annoyingly quoting here is useless, everything is blacked out so it proves nothing..

and i wouldnt believe a screenshot if one was posted anyway because it could be edited in minutes to show false..

so please, if you would, post your conf, anyone that claims it works, post your confs please, as i cant find any literature anywhere to help me with what the conf should hold

Personally, I'm not expecting a proper fix to the wallet issues until Monday. Raxe.io is a company. Theoretically, this means more than one person is involved. That means coordination. If someone's actually enjoying their weekend, coordination and quorum isn't likely to happen.

I advise patience, but I expect that people will get skittish and the price will fall a bit by the time this is resolved.

Exactly! And i don't like being ignored, especially from a fucking amateur.

I'm having trouble with staking on win7.  Hasn't worked so far.

But even so, I wouldn't post a screenshot without blacking out my account balance, just like I posted a getinfo without that data. It's nobody's business what my balance and earnings are, and that is what those screenshots reveal.  In other words, the posters are not hiding their data to try to fool you into thinking that staking is working.  Staking IS working, it is just not working for everyone.  See here for proof:  http://chainz.cryptoid.info/dis/#

It's just a bug or something, and like other bugs it will be fixed.  Bugs that only happen to some ppl and not others are the toughest ones to track down.  Be patient.

Post debug logs if you are having trouble staking.

Is the problem  perhaps that I'm using win7 x64?  The download indicates it's for x86.  I tried running in compat mode for win xp sp3.  I also tried running in a fresh win7 x64 vm with nothing else installed, instead of a physical machine, to rule out programmatic interference.

I would be ok posting my debug log, but I would need to review the data to redact my IP and other identifying info.

OK tbc, here's what I'm going to do.  I archived my old logs file because it was huge.  I restarted the wallet and I will first post the debug log PRIOR to unlocking the wallet for staking (asterisks are where I redacted personal or repetitive data), in case the problem is happening before I even get to the staking stage:

Did you update .net frameworker ?

To what version and build?

This is precompiled - does it require the .net framework at all?  I was under the impression it was compiled and packaged with the gcclibs  and others that it needs.  I've got the assortment of DLLs in the distrocoin directory.
