This needs sorting out ASAP.  As I understand RAXE.IO is involved in a lot of other coin pojects (epawncoin to name one) so loss of credibility is going to make these other projects suffer.  If your seeing this Raxe, please give your side, and if indeed bitsta has done the work, then pay him and lets move on.

i made the work. i can proove you.
check the github repository and you will see that i commited the new sources. plus i made an update on icons, etc. and created an .icns for OSX icon compability.  https://github.com/Distrocoin/DistroCoin/commits/master

also i just deactivated the wallet-downloads on my MEGA-account. so they are not reachable anymore from the OP.
it will show you "file not available". this could only be done by me.

Based on the bits of information from one side, the only thing that strikes me is that Windows staking was a requirement before payment. That isn't working. So, yeah. We need more of the story.

bullshit. it s working. check the forums. i saw a couple of posts. even with screenshots of PoS working.
then go and check the blockchain. PoS is working. and a lot of ppl are geting stakes.

i can confirm staking is working. also other posts in this thread confirm staking working.

example:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=614921.msg7199225#msg7199225
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=614921.msg7018924#msg7018924

but there are more posts with successfull staking.

Your first link does not prove POS is working, and your second link is dated before the POS issued arose.

We need to give RAXE some time to at least respond and not jump to conclusions.

Indeed. That first link looks a lot like my screenshot a short time ago in this thread. I've been looking at 1 second for waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long now.

So that makes two of us confirming issues with staking on Windows, versus a screenshot which doesn't actually prove staking is working and a screenshot prior to the staking issues? We really need more of this story than big red "SCAMMER!" text.

Seriously.

so you re saying some of you are able to stake (if you look at the blockchain which always tells the truth.....) and some are not (if you look at your posts)??! i smell bs...

EDIT: beginning of this: RAXE.IO contacted me and said PoS is not working, new Icons need to be added, etc.
we ve done all that work. we ve tested Staking and it worked fine for us.

end of this: he haven't paid our work.

so how much are we talking about here?

if all is true... you can give us a little paste of your conversation I assume? Wink

we are talking about a total amount of 3BTC. 1.38 BTC were paid on 7th June.
so 1.62BTC are still missing.

ok.. so about a grand is missing... not cool indeed....

Can you provide us any proof of the deal...? like raxe telling you hes not gonna pay?

This is a serious matter... I would like too know what raxe has too say about this as well

http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Hackers-Harassed-FBI-Tipster-With-Threats-Sex-Toys-Prosecutors-97803564.html

FACT IS: WILLIAM H. GILES also known as WILLIAM PREMORE is a suspected scammer/hacker.

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:vlToXuIF1tkJ:pastebin.com/30j5HPJF+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

this is just the TOP of the iceberg.

WILLIAM I TOLD YOU I WANT MY MONEY! I was always a honest guy. i do good coding. AND YOU KNOW THAT I FIXED YOUR COIN AT MY BIRTHDAY! I HAD TO POSTPONE MY PARTY BECAUSE OF YOU! I am going to contact the prosecutors office of kansas city if you keep ignoring me!!!

If you can show how he is a know scammer before then please....

fork this coin, destroy the premine, let's continue.

no that would be a bad idea cause i won't be better than RAXE.IO.. by forking/destroying such a project i would only harm the community and users which are not responsible for Williams crap.

well i can show that the is a known scammer, just by the fact that he didn't pay me.
the rest is just suspicion based on public informations. i corrected that in my previous post. i am sorry, but i am really
angry. there is so much dishonesty and greed in this biz. and i don't understand why...

How would it destroy or harm the community? if this person is a scammer he deserve to lose the premine. Is it not possible to fork or do a new chain with coin swap and black list the premine address.

Sounded promising but this coin has turned to dirt in the last few days. I have a bunch of it and was holding, i got cheap thankfully or i would be very worried right now.

yes you are right. this would be an option. but therefor the community would need to overtake the project to allow a new chain/coinswap or update/premine-addr blacklisting.

well if he does not come to explain or pay in the next day or two, then i would be fine with updating to blacklist premine address.

If you are willing to take over development, then i have no issue with you getting what is left of the premine if it can be somehow transfered though a fork.

Let's hope he comes on to explain or pay. Either way business needs to be conducted way more open and transparent on here.

The coins value has crashed since this came out and really the dev needs to be on here sorting this out or just leave the project. Where is he to explain his side of this ffs.

Did you not actually pay attention to the screenshot during your ranting? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=614921.msg7289391#msg7289391

This has the signs of vendetta or trying to depress the market or something. I'm not sure what. But my own BS meter starts waggling when someone starts shouting "SCAMMER DOES NOT WANT TO PAY ME AND I DID THE WORK!" and I can see myself that the claimed work has not happened.

EDIT: The blockchain doesn't prove the Windows client is working. It was confirmed a few days ago that the Linux client is staking now. So of course the blockchain would show staking, even if the Windows client doesn't work.

Did you need to compile a new windows qt? and did people need to delete everything in their roaming folder except the wallet.dat?

maybe this is the problem.

How long have you been asking rax for funds?

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMER !

RAXE.IO = William Giles = SCAMMER!!!

i warn all users to stay away from this crapdev and his coin and any project linked to him.

as you can see, I FIXED THE SOURCES (look at the last commit = github.com/distrocoin/distrocoin) and we had an appointment. I was paid about 40% of the agreed amount in front.

I and ra1nb0wdash fixed and tested the sources in an new network. And mining + staking
worked without problems. After i sent him the sources he said he will pay me the rest and so i
compiled him the WINDOWS wallet and sent it to him.

BUT WILLIAM GILES said PoS is still not working and SCAMMED ME AND DIDN'T PAY THE REST!!!

WE WILL FIGHT THIS SCAMMER AND HIS SCAMMING COMPANY UNTIL THEY PAY US WHAT
BELONGS TO US!!

check the blockchain. PoS is working.

My wallet has always been staking. If someone have problems with staking its not the wallet that is broken

And yes, everything needed to be cleared EXCEPT wallet.dat.

EDIT: last msg about payment was sent 9th june.

i have been asking since 7th June..

If this is the  case give a couple more days and if we all hear nothing we should vote on forking the coin and nulling the premine.

Mine are on exchange so i have not tested.

I only see noobs saying it does not stake.

Any experienced crypto users that have downloaded the new QT full blockchain delete and started again without stake?

I heard the same thing on whitecoin but it turned out it was noobs not following instructions properly.

Show us the conversation when the dev said to you "fuck you will never see your BTC"

i never said that he said "fuck you will never see your BTC".
and i am not going to repeat myself. read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=614921.msg7288969#msg7288969

he said that PoS is not working. we tested the sources TWICE. in a new network. PoS worked without any problem.
then we got confirmation from other windows users, that PoS is working.
SO OUR PART OF THE DEAL WAS HELD. POINT.

I understood ... but why are you sure that the dev will never pay you Huh? Did he say fuck you ?? ?? ??

Because you are crying ... so ok, but where are the proofs ?

That is my question ...

raxe has not been online since the accusations started, so let at least wait for him to be active on the forum again, if his active and doesn't respond, then we have our answer and should proceed appropriately (forking the coin).

I'll happily download the wallet later, transfer my coins over and test staking, if that helps Smiley

reading back through the posts, there are some people whos wallets are not staking.  This may be because they have not updated, or cleared their appdata.  I don't know, but I do get the feeling this comes down to some miscommunication which im sure it can easily be resolved.
