He has moved on to other projects, however he's privately given us his blessing to resurrect Spots and continue it.

I think it would be best for our community if we all remained positive.  I've always said if igotspots wants to rejoin us, he is welcome.  Otherwise, we'll keep moving on without him...  Let's focus on how to really keep this momentum going!

Hi everyone -

Our next big thing to tackle on the Spots2 to-do list is to build a community forum.  However, after the past week or so of trying to get everyone upgraded to our v2 client, and get the word out about our upgrade, I have noticed we may have already be spread a little too thin.

We are at a cross-roads, as far as the community forum is concerned, I could build it and it would become our home on the internet.  These other forums would only be used for big announcements.  The pro's would be having our own "home", we would moderate, we would own the space...  The con is that it is something you may have to go "out of your way" to get to and it may not see a lot of "action"...

Option 2 would be to stay here on BitcoinTalk.org and use this forum (actually this thread) as our home.  The pro here is that the community is already here, people already log in to check messages and new postings, and there are no maintenance or up-time considerations that our dev team would be responsible for.  The con is that our posts tend to get lost in the thousands of altcoin threads and we are moderated and have to follow their rules.

I've opened a poll to get the community's opinion and suggestion.  We'll move forward how you vote.  If you want to throw out any additional pro's or con's for either scenario, please reply to this thread and share your thoughts.

Yea, it was trading near 1500 satoshis on Friday night.  There is a pretty decent sell wall @ 1500, once we break through that it should take off again.  It's exciting to see the coin come back to life.

Spots to Silver Store - Now Online!!!
http://www.theSPT.com/exchange/

I am pleased to announce that I am ready to open the Spots to Silver store.

We are selling by the gram, up to 10 grams per order.  This amount allows us to keep the envelope under 1 oz for easy shipping, pretty much anywhere in the world, as a standard letter.

Obviously, this is just the beginning and we'll add additional weights and types of metals in the future.

Note: The website is finished and ready for orders...  However, we won't begin shipping until later this week.  Buy today and be the first in the queue! Shipping NOW!

Thanks to Matory for being the first to get a response from Cryptsy.  They have received our fork information and their technical team is aware of the upcoming requirements.

If anyone has any connections with the Coins-E administration, we can use your help!  Several users have tried to pass our fork information on to their support team and we are not hearing anything.  If you are able to get a hold of them, please shoot me a PM or alert the group via the forum.

Thanks again Matory, and happy trading everyone!  Grin

I added some additional instructions to the exchange web page to hopefully help eliminate any confusion.

  • Click on the "pay via coinpayments.net" button to see the current pricing.  This will change with the exchange rates.
  • US Shoppers - Please use the US buttons, as shipping is slightly reduced.
  • International Shoppers - Please use the International buttons, this includes first class international shipping via USPS.

If you have any questions / suggestions, please feel free to reply here or PM me.  Smiley
