Not to worry I bet we see a major turn around in csc soon. These prices are absurd. If this continues I'll need to get some btc to get more

If it is as certain as sayd here, i am actually very surprised that the people involved have not done so already especially at the current price. I understand the cheaper they get it the more profit they make but the current price gives a price point that is plenty no matter how you look at it. Also when the coin goes into use for casinos then there is no real need for the community to hold any coin. Or do you believe people involved have enough already (which seems hard to believe).

show me the prypto cards. i will buy more then.

To peel or not to peel.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Do you have the addresses Crypsy owns? Would be interesting to see how much they have.

The problem is they change all the time. you could try depositing a coin and following the transaction to see where it lands. Maybe with a bit of luck you'll see it hit a cold wallet that has a large balance.

My most recent withdrawal came from this address:

http://csc.blockexp.info/address/CUYPXyBUD4fdDT4amZkbVNyi3sJXNkrYJa

Can anyone get this block explorer to work?  I would like to know what the current balance is on this address...

It is for me now too.  Thanks.  No movement since 12JAN, so that's a good sign for now.

digging deeper casino already has over 600000 DOT votes
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Home/Voting

Maybe casino is already close to being listed after being reviewed.

Pardon the distraction, really want to see this coin  succeed.
In anycase, i have some DOT ready to go if you need more.

Submitted a ticket to cryptopia this morning

I sent a message asking them to add Csc since the DOT votes exceeds there requirement to get listed. Still nothing yet.

This cryptsy situation has left a lot of alts in limbo. Honestly, I'm seeing bargains in several places, not just on CSC. I think part of it is how the cryptsy book was structured and how traders perceive the slow car crash that is cryptsy continuing to unfold. The buy side was all BTC and that's obviously gone. So, the majority of buyers that were actively buying altcoin basically went up in smoke with cryptsy. So I think it's natural that the coins trapped in Cryptsy's sell side could become available and would just go for sale at other exchanges when cryptsy opens the wallets. The only buying going on in alts is new btc coming in looking for baragins. This doesn't bode well for prices anywhere.

I bet it's going to take months before alt markets are stable and healthy again. It's really quite an interesting time.

Moving to Puerto Rico...

Cryptsy was one of the biggest alt coins exchange and as a result of halting trading activity makes most alt coins fall in price and trading volume. CSC and the rest of the other alt coins can get up and running once there would be another exchange as similar as Cryptsy.

Prices for CSC are really cheap right now,  but as you said earlier before, it might take days or even months to see its price increase at all. I have seen that there is a Chinese clone of the Cryptsy exchange called Bitebi9.  Maybe we could ask for CSC to get listed there as I think it might have a great impact price and market cap. But this is just a suggestion  Roll Eyes

I agree with your previous post ...
Frankly I do not think needed more visibility to CSC through more exchanges.

And I also do not think the current prices are a problem because of CRYPTSY. If they were related, it should was up prices. After all, they lack the coins that were in cryptsy ...

What is needed is to make a difference.

If CSC is used in some important service, either casinos or other services, then you will be sought and will have its own value in FIAT / BTC

Otherwise, it's just another ALTCOIN. Point.

The fact that it is cheap now, it's just a reflection that people are more than burned with projects and promises over the last few months / years in crypto universe. (it's easy to see, that is not have searching for the daily production of the miners ...)

I personally can not get more right now ... and i will wait and see what comes in future (february..)...

as GamingCoins said to me before : "  Our business model is solid regardless of people buying CSC or not. "

So, wainting to see..

Actually ALT coins have been rising on many mainstream exchanges.
Some coins have risen 50,60,70 % or more.
I believe it has to do with a Peoples Bank of China announcement
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/chinas-plans-launch-currency-might-affect-bitcoin/

Read carefully, looks like the chinese government wants to use a digital currency in a different way

Now is NOT the time to not be on a mainstream exchange.

It gives me curiosity as where most alt coins prices are increasing to the roof, CSC has not increased that much. Its price has been mostly in decline (according to coinmarketcap) I wonder why. And if China releases a digital currency, then it would affect Bitcoin and the rest of the alt coins, as the Chinese play an important role in these markets.  Smiley

With cryptsy imploding, it wiped out 99% of active buyers and sellers. So we end up with 2 incredibly thin books on alcurex and alterdice. Now the price has declined because buying only happens when new BTC comes in. BTC that was cycling on cryptsy is effectively destroyed. On the sell side, we still have an onslaught of miners generating 28,800 coins per day and they just care about getting BTC, so they instasell.

Unfortunately, I think we will see a lot of volatility for months in all alts due to the cryptsy fallout. It's just not a healthy functioning market right now.

The reason CSC didn't rise was there are no mainstream exchanges....duh!
I'd like to know where the miners are insta-selling - I quit mining days ago as price fell so low it wasn't worth it.
The whole reason I started was I thought the coin had a future.
Some parts are very well done......what I don't understand is why the dev won't pay a pittance to save his coin. SMH  Huh
