Interesting mining activity going on right now. 800MH Just a matter of time until new investors buy the cheap coins at nova and alcurex
I believe that exciting times will come ahead for CSC from now and beyond. The increased mining activity shows huge interest from miners into the coin, making possible to see a price rise in the future. Right now, the value for each CSC is extremely cheap so it may prove to become attractive for new investors and traders, eventually resulting in a massive price increase the more demand it gets. In addition to this, if the CSC team decides to make a swap for a new Casinocoin 2.0 powered by Ethereum smart contracts, it will become a major boost for the cryptocurrency in terms of popularity, usage, and awareness. Besides, if this becomes a reality, CSC would have the same security of the Ethereum network, while at the same time providing never before seen features that will increase its demand in the long term. Imagine being able to play any type of gambling game in a decentralized fashion with Ethereum smart contracts, using the CSC token. It would truly be revolutionary, and I will continue to buy and hold CSC to secure my stake in the future. Just my opinion

I don't understand, if your project is CasinoCoin, why you have repositories with name SANDcoin?!
From OP: The main issue at hand was that the current gambling-branded wallet would not have been compliant with existing banking regulation in this particular country. In negotiation with this partner, the "Caribbean Sandcoin" name was chosen because it was considered generic, tropical themed, and conformed to the CSC designation.

It never ceases to amaze me what delusions people get themselves into. I have seen this many times in absolutely hopeless investments that were dying, and even when the company went into bankruptcy, people on message boards would post that a white knight will emerge and make an offer for the shares. "huge interest from miners"? Seriously? Which sane person would mine CSC when there is practically no market to sell it? Miners' business is to mine and then immediately sell the mined coins. The CSC developers made mining CSC all but pointless by reducing the reward to 1 coin per bock. Not surprisingly, genuine mining activity reduced, which made the recent 51% attack possible. The recent uptick in hash rate is likely due to the so called "new CSC team" (just the same people as before) putting some hashing power into the network to keep it running and to make another 51% attack a bit more difficult. There is no outside interest in CSC. None! Please look at the facts: CSC is ranked 317 in coinmarketcap. It is suspended on Cryptopia, it has suffered a 51% attack recently. It has abysmal trading volume. It is dead. Right now, the value for each CSC is extremely cheap so it may prove to become attractive for new investors and traders, eventually resulting in a massive price increase the more demand it gets.
On what basis? In the past 7 months, we have just seen the biggest market bubble in cryptos, with BTC rising 5-fold, ETH rising 1000s of % and dozens of other cryptos rising exponentially. In this market climate, CSC managed to do absolutely nothing. Cryptos are now in consolidation mode and if the 2000 dot.com bubble is anything to go by, most minor cryptos will die and a handful of major players will emerge as winners.
Why would the "CSC team" decide to make a swap? Why do you even need an existing crypto with no value and no recognition to do smart contracts for gambling on ETH? Just go ahead and do it. Besides, the "CSC team" managed to make absolutely nothing out of CSC when they had the opportunity of a lifetime in the form of the recent crypto hype and before ETH became popular. With ETH, there is no longer a need for special purpose coins, as ETH provides the platform to do anything with smart contracts. The suggestions to "swap" or "merge" CSC with the ETH platform show just that, that CSC is obsolete. Imagine being able to play any type of gambling game in a decentralized fashion with Ethereum smart contracts, using the CSC token.
Great idea Sherlock, it's already being done: https://medium.com/@dao.casino/why-dao-casino-is-ethereum-for-gambling-7ed2f5cea40cAs I said, one does not need CSC to do ETH based gambling.

No you assume it's dead but have no idea what's going on and frankly I don't see why anyone would share any news with you? Your coins are stuck in cryptopia (I'm sorry they are and you couldn't liquidate) but we all know if you don't own the private keys you don't own the coins. MOVE ON and i'll PM you if anything happens with cryptopia.

Oh, I know what's going on: - Prypto will "shortly" be releasing its services (after having failed to sell any service previously)
- Casinocoin was taken over by a "new" team (read: the same losers who failed to produce anything at Prypto)
- At some point in the next few months, said new team will make an announcement, consisting of the announcement of future announcements
- This will be followed by further announcements of future events, none of which will ever actually happen
In the world of Prypto, "news" consists of aspirations, dreams and ideas. I have no doubt that these are plentiful. As they say, ideas are a dime a dozen. Sadly the same cannot be said of CSC, as 12 of them are not even worth a dime.

You mention Prypto several times, Prypto has no affiliation with CasinoCoin besides providing a service which unfortunately for them didn't take off. If you see absolutely no value in CasinoCoin then stop posting FUD... your point has been made and the thread is not moderated by me so your comments won't be going anywhere.

I saw this thread after we were playing around with some pools earlier online. It was interesting and I wanted to add one more Point although at your guide is perfect. We were using one of the old tools it's pretty complicated hard to get along with, if you set it up by default it switches going to automatically to the most profitable.

I wrote a ticket to Cryptopia asking for my stucked CSC in there and their response is that coin's team has the responsability of keeping the network secure, which I guess it is true. So I wonder if I can get a refund of my CSC tokens stucked in Cryptopia from the coin's team, as they should have secure the network to avoid a 51% atack. This is the message from Cryptopia: Hi xxx, Thanks for contacting Cryptopia. CSC among some of our other coins, has recently been the target of an ongoing series of 51% attacks that are hitting the networks without a substantial amount of hash behind them. If you’re not familiar with how a 51% attack works, rogue nodes commit blocks to the chain and then roll back the chain, invalidating what was already confirmed. Unfortunately due this attack the majority of CSC coins were lost. This is the reason it is being delisted, and we opened the wallet for users to withdraw what was left in the wallet. The wallet is now empty so regrettably there are no more coins for users to withdraw. As it is the Coin's team who are responsible for ensuring their network is secure, any further Complaints and support requests should be directed towards the CSC team. You may be able to contact them via their launch forum here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=616792.0I'm really sorry to be the bearer of bad news for you ! Kind regards, Cryptopia Support

Kind regards, Cryptopia Support Have you looked at the csc blockchain? It does not show a 51% attack... Furthermore, it does show that someone was spamming the blockchain with transactions of coins that did not exist. cryptopia's in house code finally accepted the transaction. The blockchain did not accept the transaction however. To be honest though, they cant even get a story straight. In that letter, if real, says they didn't have coins to give to people, saying that somehow they are gone.... Which makes no sense when you look at their trading history and whatever else there is to back up that claim. I'm very confused about what they are actually trying to say happened. At least in the letters you guys are posting, if real. Can someone try and explain this statement to me? "Unfortunately due this attack the majority of CSC coins were lost"

Well, they did not like me to complain, to ask what was mine .... Sender: Happy_8/21/2017 6:44:32 PM Hi xyz, CSC is currently in maintenance due to a 51% attack and we have been working to bring the market back online. We don't take legal threats lightly and I suggest you review the agreement you sign up to when using Cryptopia, it can be found at the bottom of almost every page: Usage of Cryptopia.co.nz indicates acceptance of the Cryptopia Ltd. Terms & Conditions. Cryptopia Ltd. is not responsible for losses caused by outages, network volatility, wallet forks/maintenance or market conditions. If you would still like to raise a legal case, feel free to have a legal representative contact us. I will close this ticket, If you have a support issue we are very happy to help. Please log another ticket if required, clearly describing the issue and providing transaction ID's as needed. Support is provided as a service, we are not obliged to respond. Think carefully about your next communication with us. Regards, Cryptopia Support and I forewarned them that if I do not "kiss the feet" to them, never speak to me ... (yeah I'm in the playground of pre-primary .... LOL) I replied asking for proof of their innocence, and I had no answer. Frankly, having a exchange is a breast .... or we get the fees from users / clients or we get their coins ...

In the interest of transparency I will paste below my most recent reply to ugabuga's support ticket as it seems it has slipped their mind to do so; Hi XXX,
With respect to evidence of our innocence I would point you towards the several hundred other coins we maintain that do not suffer the same problem as CSC.
I understand your frustration at the loss of your investment however my only advice at this point is that you invest more carefully in future. We obviously didn't spend 4 years building an exchange platform just to "steal" what is evidently a dead coin.
I can let you know however that we contacted the CSC team with evidence of the attack and they agreed to compensate our users and admitted a failure to secure their network. Upon providing them remittance advice they declined to pay, we have not heard from them since.
Further inquires should be directed to the CSC team (if they are still around, which it would appear that they are not).
Questions, concerns, comments please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Thanks, Jerry Cryptopia Support

Yeah ... I think I fell asleep around 5:00 AM from Friday to Saturday and 06:30 Saturday to Sunday. I thank you that you registered to put your answer to me. Thank you. I do not like manipulating users' opinions by putting only half ideas, or biased ideas ... I would like you to participate a bit more here in the forum. So, on the bottom, I'll put the message I sent. In the interests of transparency, I ask you to respond directly to the selected points in red. So we can have objective answers (I hope ...): Sender: xyz 8/21/2017 8:33:50 PM Very well, it seems that I did not read the conditions very well ....
1- By now, could you please invoke the situation that happened, and that you can not blame any guilt? Please, what was the specific situation?
I still do not get it ... 2 - can you please put the Blockchain section that proves the 51% attack?
3 - You can put evidence of the attack, and evidence that shows good administrative practice of the assets of your clients (yes ... if I pay fees for you I am your client!) such as the number of confirmations required in deposits and withdrawals. 120 confirmations, how is normal practice, or less?
4 - I'm especially stumped on BlockChain ... I lost hours and hours to check and found no problem ... can you tell where the 51% attacks are?5 - You had your wallet in sync with the blockchain, right? 6 - Can you (please ...) put the evidence that you did not have a bad management of the currency in your hands?
7 - To whom should I ask for the return of my 67064.44179703CSC that I bought with BTC that I transferred to your site?
You know, at this moment what it seems, is that it is an internal coup to extort the CSC from its rightful owners .... is what it seems ... I do not need to threaten anything, until I asked you for explanations, please ... if you want to give it, you give it!
If you do not want to explain, then you are a thief to me, and then it is a police case. Whatever you say from now on, think hard, because I will not accept the excuse that it was the administrator X or Y who had a nervous collapse and foolish to say thing ..
Do you think I thought carefully before this communication? please? P.S.:I thank you that you answered my ticket in a correct way to me, in cryptopia. Unfortunately not all are like this, in cryptopia.

I saw this when we were throwing a loan out of hash rate at it something like 100 megahash. At what we were doing play around to get the highest number of coins bind and not worry about actual money was we had to keep switching coins cuz the difficulty Rising. We would find one that was being mined at a low hashrate, then we would mind it at a higher hashrate the payouts with start thinning because the difficulty was Rising so we would switch to another call this is a system what technique that somebody who is mining on their computer might want to think about.

Update: September 19, 2017 – CasinoCoin launches foundation in the Isle of Man
Today we announced that we are relaunching CasinoCoin. A large part of the relaunch is the establishment of a non-profit foundation based on the Isle of Man. We have big plans to work with established and regulated online gambling operators, as well as promote the adoption and best-use practices in regulated gambling markets. Over the coming months you'll hear more about our plans, but for now, please visit the CasinoCoin website to read the recently distributed press release and check back soon for more exciting news.
Subscribe to our subreddit as that will be our main public forum to engage with the community and provide updates on the project. Don't forget to follow us on all our other social media channels too! This account will be used for official communications only moving forward, casinocoin (matt) will now be posting as mspades.
