You should have at least 3 pools setup using "--failover-only". All servers have downtime, even giant cloud services like Microsoft Azure (took Bittrex down with it for about 2 hours).

Uro: A Real Long Term Currency, 1 URO = 1 metric tonne of Urea N46 fertilizer[/url]
Urea N46 tracks gradual increases in energy and food prices over the long term.

Question

On Scrypt I get minor or none rejects/stales with --queue 0 --scan-time 1 --expiry 1.

But does anyone have tips for these 3 settings on x13 and x11?

Thanks and regards

I played around with my mining PCs last night, and spent a good hour trying all sorts of settings on the single 280X machine.  But I didn't change the TC, it has stayed at 8192, and the single 280X at 1100/1500 intensity 15 is getting 3.00 Mhash.

What different TCs are people using on 270X's and 280X's?

According to lasybear, X11/X13 miners do NOT use threads parameter at all.

Pretty sure TC has no affect when using lasybears version.

TC has no effect on x11 or x13 so pointless including it in your config

i use the same on x11 & x13, seams to be doing better like that.
im pretty sure new coins are the ones that "react" to those settings, due to fast block times

In case anyone is running 6970 cards:

After trying numerous configs, this is my setup using the modded sph-sgminer for 6xxx/5xxx cards...

sgminer -k x13modold -o stratum+tcp://multipool.cloakcoin.com:8066 -u C4ebM1pcKtwfSseLxQsMBrCXD8WB9DqFCW -p x -w 256 -I 20 -g 5 -s 5 -E 25 -Q 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --lookup-gap 2 --no-submit-stale --gpu-engine 955 --gpu-memclock 1475 --gpu-vddc 1.05 --gpu-fan 72 --gpu-powertune 20

Pulling ~1.45-1.55 MH/s per card.

Hope it helps someone get the most out of their cards  Grin

Please feel free to tip a thanks at Cryptsy to my trade key below  Wink

Yeah, it's been stated here a couple times that thread count is NOT used in the X11 or X13 algorithms in this miner.

That has nothing to do with what I am asking. It isn't even the same GPU...

Yeah, it's been stated here a couple times that thread count is NOT used in the X11 or X13 algorithms in this miner.

With X13 that is accurate at least with my finding. With X11 it isn't. My 5970 running x11 with no tc set or 6016 it get 1.9mh/s per core. When running the exact same thing except with tc set to 8000 I get 1.98mh/s per core. I have run this test over and over again and I get the same results every time.

Running the x11, newest version, I get;

"getaddress info<>  in setup_stratum_socket<> returned 11001:"

in-between the accepted shares.

Anyone know how I can fix this ? looks like its slowing production down.

My card is sapphire r9 280 -

sgminer.exe --kernel x11mod -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.suchpool.pw:3325 -u elviselvis -p password --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 --lookup-gap 2 --worksize 256 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-memclock 1500
