Please fix 290/290x sick bug in x11mod kernel.
Works fine on x13mod but x11mod sicks in 1-30 minutes randomly.

Works fine on vanilla darkcoin kernel in sph-sgminer but binary miner & this miner sick the cards.

Would be nice if it could be fixed in x11mod and sgminer 5.0 Smiley

Note: i've tried different card bioses, different operating systems, and different clocks (even insanely low ones), they all sick randomly while the card is stable on every other algorithm/miner ive tried it on. as well as different catalyst versions.

intensity 8 will cause the same thing as 17 (which is optimal Wink )

will there be new % increase? girino version gives 100kh/s more

100kh/s more on what? x11 and x13? both?

will there be new % increase? girino version gives 100kh/s more
and 1% fee.

the math is still in his favor

100kh/s more is like 1/30 for 1/100 fee

its x13 and i get 100kh/s more from each card i get 3.2mh/s with lasybear and 3.3mh/s with grino may cards are 290s.
so with  grino  i get  3x 3300:9900kh/s- %1fee:9.8mh/s
with lasybear:3x3200kh/s:9.6mh/s

You're so funny )
This is not a miner quality, but kernels code optimisations.
Ok. Look.

ATI drivers 13.x vs 14.x, do you observe change in hashrate?

Since I can't get over 2,5Mh on x13 with R9 290 on 13.x drivers, I  think about changing them.
But because it is a lil bit scary for me (on Linux), I would like to make some research before.

I just upgraded to the latest 14.6 driver and strangely it doesn't seem to work, I only get HW errors and no share at all with my R9 290x
(Am I doing something wrong or is there anybody having the same problem ?)

I've been seeing increased crashes with my 290X's as well. Sometimes one goes sick and drops to about 40% hashrate and doesn't recover if CGwatcher restarts the miner app. In that case all I can do is have CGwatcher force a reboot if the hashrate drops below a certain threshhold. But it's happening a lot, like 2-3 times/hour in certain circumstances. Other times it runs stable for 12-15 hours. (Might be the mining pool used makes a difference somehow?)

Yep.
Has read a lot of responses that 14.6 is bad for miners.

Open source (== NO HIDDEN MININGS) version of X11/X13 algo sgminer with separate kernels.

Upd. 2014-06-03
  • Fix x13mod for AMD HD 5xxx/6xxx cards. Use for these cards "kernel" : "x13modold" in config file or -k x13modold from the command line. All parameters (intensity, threads etc) need to be tuned individually.
  • A little improvement in hamsi kernel.
  • Further fixes and improvements will be committed to innovative sgminer 5 only: https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/tree/v5_0.
Windows binaries (actual):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/sodbzky1e3p2d32/sgminer_x11x13mod_03_06_2014.zip

Upd. 2014-05-28
  • Added x13mod (Marucoin, Boostcoin etc) support
  • Increased time to SICK state
  • Experimental: hashbuffer allocation depends of initial {i, xi, rawi}ntensity. Maybe increase a stability, maybe not...
Windows binaries (previous):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/umdtns7vfvpnca4/X13mod.zip

Mainly thanks, obviously, girino for his brilliant idea.

Thanks to Elun for actual Windows binaries.

Thanks to Remember remember the 5th of November for extracting kernels file from "girino's 2% fee version miner" and providing Windows binaries.

Increased time to SICK state (WTF? - read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623409.msg6949113#msg6949113)

## Mod x11 (separate kernels)

0. Use "kernel" : "x11mod" in config file or -k x11mod via command line.
1. In case of instability please set a little bit lower engine frequency than a original sgminer.
