Still, the LC and MMXIV launch profiles are too similar for me (MMXIV 22% of coins mined in first 2 hours; LC 75% of coins mined in first 48 minutes). LC has virtually zero network protection due to no block reward and no transactions (looks like maybe one person CPU mining) and with MMXIV halving every week it won't be long before MMXIV isn't profitable to mine either. LC and LCL are both sub-20-BTC market cap coins. So, I'll pass on this one! But I won't hog the thread

I think Limecoin's only flaw is the large number of coins for their plan. So I used their idea and took it to the extreme. A transaction fee of .001 out of 2014 total coins (instead of a million or 100k) is going to be worth a lot more

I don't know what you mean, but I will ask him. If it's a block thing, that's why I made this one 8 minutes. To stretch out the mining a bit more without using lower numbers for a reward
