Here is an idea that would make coins like this more attractive and fix the premine issue.

1) Have two staking protocols, one for miners/investors and the other for verified volunteer fire stations, where the wallet is publicly and verifiably associated with one particular station and the fire chief has his name connected to that wallet.

2) Pay two different stakes, maybe 10% per year for regular wallets and 40% per year for verified wallets belonging to fire stations.

3) Money raised to buy fire equipment would run some risk of declining, if the price of the coin fell, but that would be counteracted long term by being able to hold the coin until a favorable market, while earning more interest.

Nobody really likes premines and nobody wants to donate with a gun to their head, but most people agree with giving a slight financial edge to organizations that are not out to cause damage.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Plan of Action.
Find 2-3 Fire Houses, is OP still around?
Verify real.  I will pledge some BLZ to them.
Fund something for their Fire House.

I would say the plan is:

1. stay alive
2. then thrive

The POW scrypt {shtcoin} apocalypse is nearly over.
BLZ has made it thus far.  All that is need is to keep nodes up and pools open.

After that the Market.   My suggestion is maintain a solid NAV.   Even after the 2017BTC bubble.

This is no get rich quick project.
But proven and weathered  POW networks will someday attract a larger mass of investors.
Being a simple and small $50M chain by 2020 is not unreasonable.

The strategy is not complicated.

The goal is to be a classic Top25 on the scryptPOW chain lists.
{already there and just need to sustain}

Any fire station could put this on crowdfunder, bet they could make enough to buy a fire engine and other equipment.

Could easily sell Blazecoins for $10 a coin.

What type of equipment apart from fire trucks do Fire fighters use?

Hoses?
Nozzles?
Protective clothing?

Anyone care to expand more?

If the coin is crowdfunded to buy a fire engine it could end up $100 - $1000 a coin. Best get in early.

Hello, can someone tell me exactly what this coin does and why people would want it? Is it still alive? Has any progress been made recently? What's the deal with it supposedly reaching $10 a coin if a firestation uses it? Thank you for your time.

According to H2C there should be three wallet connections, but none of my coins are being confirmed, nor is my wallet on my PC syncing.

Is there any information regarding this? I would love to see this coin continue to exist but I've dropped mining for now as the mined coins are not being confirmed.

That's really odd, my node is showing 12 connections as well as pool node showing the same.

I will update with a node link for you to include in your config file shortly, https://cryptopools.ca is also showing 12 connections.
