There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

This day i have see 17 then 12 and again 12 btc sell somebody is suppressing the progression value of XC not bad to buy more but its killing momentum at each release or each good news ...

someone is just playing the market, if you want to make it harder for him or here to stop making the daily 15 to 20% then more buy support is needed

I think I found out ATCsecure secret.

-How he is able to work 60+ hours a week on a incredible coin platform.

-Able to complete the code with a decentralized mixer node system with encrypted chat and other goodies.

ATCsecure is a Cylon.

***Win an XC TOR Stick signed by Dan Metcalf!***

Here's your chance to win the industry-leading privacy tool signed by its incredible developer!

How to win:

When the XC Bitcointalk thread reaches page 1000, do the following:

1) Use XChat to send a message to:
       Address:     XDzTA6xMsx1FJkitgKaj3S9mMvPQEzN4w9
       Public key:  eRyb6fBBZxfkVp1kLcgc81WQuZw8pgpPwkVfKNhJBHBC

(If you don't have XChat yet, download it here.)

2) Post the address you sent the message from onto the Official XC Forum here.

3) Put your XChat address and public key into your Bitcointalk signature.

Since XChat is not yet released for Mac and Linux, users can alternatively send a micropayment to the address above, and then post their sending address on the Official XC Forum as described.

The competition will run for 24 hours from the time of the first post on page 1000.

The winner will be decided upon by a suitably random method. If needs be, a video or other means of proof will be posted to establish the randomness of the selection.

The signed TOR Stick will be shipped to the winner at the earliest possible date. This may be in advance of TOR Sticks being shipped to the general public.

The 1000th page will be reached by today!!!

Just sent a message to XDzTA6xMsx1FJkitgKaj3S9mMvPQEzN4w9, my address is XBPMEncv8HzCqvjxdF6SbbfpvB4pTC24Da.

Just sent a message to XDzTA6xMsx1FJkitgKaj3S9mMvPQEzN4w9, my address is.

The content is 'Hi ATC, this is 520Bit, can I win the TOR Stick?'

You're supposed to post that info to the XCtalk.com forums for the contest - posting individual addresses here at BTCtalk is apparently a no-no.

EDIT: Teka, do you think you'll get a chance to take a look at the forum's user database and get my situation sorted before the TOR stick contest ends tomorrow morning? I'd really love to participate as I've already sent a micro-payment.

WTF...?

Shadow coin has none of the features we have, it has some sort of "EM" and may have a mobile wallet on thursday.  None of its "features" have really been tested vigorously or gone under expert scrutiny.

I am by no means FUDing this coin I am merely saying it is leagues behind what we have here at XC.  Still might be money to be made there either way.

Tomorrow (Thur 7 August) we release the ISO for the TOR Stick with Privacy Mode + XChat.

It'll be downloadable for free, and you can run it in a virtualised environment or put it on a flash drive.
