Every Pool other than Extremepool.org and Minergate are reporting the network hash rate incorrectly.  FYI

Oooh, I'd forgot that. I just fixed the Lucky Ducky at http://duckpool.mooo.com:8080/ thanks for the reminder.

that is up to the network and how quick blocks are found.  You can look at the "pool blocks" link at the top of the page to see a history of blocks.

That'd be about 60 times 4 minutes, so 4 hours on average.

To whoever is apparently trying to connect a miner to the Lucky Ducky via 8080, this port is the website, not the mining port.

Stratum ports are 6666, 8888, and (for old protocol) 2222, eg:

minerd -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://duckpool.mooo.com:6666 -u address -p x

Thank you Smiley

Small announcement :

duck.crypto-pool.fr that we manage has all improvement available from monero.crypto-pool.fr, so if you want to mine some duckNotes for fun on a good pool, don't hesitate.

I can't believe "SummerCoinV2" is anywhere near the top of the Poloniex coins to be voted onto the exchange.  Terrible name and concept!

Duckies line up and vote we are almost there: https://poloniex.com/voting

C'mon guys, tell your friends about voting DUCK on poloniex and get some help from them. We must be the winner of this week

And if not, plan B(ittrex) should be put in place.

Alot of people could care less about the success for this coin over the prift they can make. After mining this in the begining I have aquired roughly over 100mil, should this be placed at 1 sat, I would stand to sell for a 1 Bitcoin.

I personaly do not think I deserve the 1 Bitcoin for the little time I put into this and hope it goes to the LTC market to hinder the dumps that I forsee

If 1 BTC for 100m XDN is too much... I'll happily give whatever you feel is the appropriate recompense for your efforts. PM me with your price.

How do I solo mine? I've typed start_mining and I get a hashrate, but I don't know what it's mining because when I disconnect the internet it carries on anyway. Can someone help me out here? Many thanks!

Can anyone help me with this? I know that solo mining at this point would be extremely difficult, I just want to know how to do it and try it out one time. Please!

Not sure it's the same from the daemon, but with minerd, it will submit any work when it reconnects (took me a while to realize, and that disconnects were not actually wasting the work). So I'd think if it doesn't error out, it's working.

open the daemon and type start_mining [your ducknote address] [number of threads]

Edit: and you cannot mine when disconnected.  When you mine, you are competing with other people to find a hash that meets some requirements, when you find it, it is submitted as the next block.  If you are disconnected, I assume it will still try to find acceptable hashes, but when it does find one, it won't be synced with anyone else's blockchain, and your work is lost.

Has anyone got the daemon for this running on a mac? I keep getting the follow error

dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libboost_system-mt.dylib
  Referenced from: /Users/****/Downloads/ducknote/ducknoted
  Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap: 5

Tried it on two machines keep getting the same thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

resolved
- installed homebrew then
- brew tap sammy007/cryptonight

(in case any other newbie comes across a similar issue)
