you think the exchanges will keep it if it goes illegal? Heck no.

then exchanges should delist BTC and every other crypto.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Hope we don't want it to rise too fast, prices dropped quickly
when prices spike too quick. When prices rise way too fast thats dumb money pouring in, when you see a slow and steady rise this shows that smart money is coming in which is much more healthy and less extreme price swings. I can from the slow rise that alot of people are holding onto their cloak, not alot
of day traders becuase there's low trading volume but yet no one has tried crashing the prices with a few thousand cloaks.

Slow and steady wins the race Smiley

yeah hey lets start selling illegal shit and get shut down and go to prison. wooohoo that sounds like fun. You guys are nuts. Im selling my shit if that happens. Silk road was not btc and btc was not silk road. You are just asking for problems and I don't want any part of that.

I'll be there to buy your Cloak so don't worry. Nobody is promoting selling illegal items. We're discussing the possibilities. Your claims are based on fear. A decentralized marketplace is a true free maket economy regulated by the market. If you dont believe in free market principals youre investing in the wrong coin. Explain to us how you would shut down a decentralized market on a Proof of Stake coin? One would have to buy up all the coin supply. At the point I'll glady sell my coin at the highest possible price.

I dont think you understand the concept of anonymous transactions + decoupled trading + decentralized marketplace. Lol. Its the holy grail of crypto. If cloak gets that kind of attention we will be in the triple digits numbers anyways. If youre scared now just sell us your cloak and avoid the further stress Smiley
oh god. Such a LOL + 1

I agree that voting should determine what's okay to be on the market, especially when laws vary according to where you're from and what's right/wrong comes from your own personal beliefs.

Anyways, I must admit that Cloak is the first crypto I ever put money in because the devs so far have been honest, open and truly innovative.

The Windows wallet (1.9.5.2) is working perfectly for me but I have a few novice crypto questions if anyone has free time:

What does the "Cloak this" button do for sending coins?
If I backed up my wallet a week ago, and sent some coins to it (same address) today but didn't back up again ... would those coins be available if I restored from the old back up and synced up?  I heard I should back the wallet up after every send of coins, but not necessary otherwise.
If I am minting coins, do I have to backup my wallet again when I receive rewards?  Or can I restore my wallet from the old file from a week ago?

That's all, thanks in advance!  Looking forward to growing with this community =)

I dont have any Cloak, I was just reading it and saw the illegal shit discussion. People are funny. So lets ban USD, EURO, CYN any other currencny in the world. BEcause as you are reading this here, someone out there buying illegal shit and no body banning that currency. SO stup the bullshit. If you do not have anything tangible to offer, just stop the fud and move on.

A lot of ass-shit losers outthere trying to fill the fud all over the places for their own gain and small time traders get scared like a chicken.

So one thing,
- if you cant afford to lose, stop this shit, cash out and go invest on timeshares, goverment bonds, realestate or band interest.
- or if you decide to invest your money, make your research and if you bought it, just stick with it.

Wasn't the illegal activity what started the bitcoin craze? Offcourse there's going to be illegal activity but it won't last forever.

I doubt there will be illegal activity...BTC wasnt planned for the types of uses while there is a thought out plan - OneJury to judge what goods can be sold and what cannot something like an authority that uses us all.

I was particularly worried about CP. I think OneJury is an elegant solution. The kids can think. Warm & fuzzy confidence from my end.

"Cloak" this means u can use the anon through exchange sending which hides your adress.
You only need to backup your wallet either after its created or after you have encrypted it with a password. So yes you can restore from your old file.

After over a week of the network being stable a fork happened during the night, investing now.

A .rar has been prepared containing files to help anyone (that is not matching block explorer) to get back on the right one quickly (without having to download entire blockchain).

Swap them out for your existing files in %appdata% roaming (being sure to keep your .dat file safe)

And that is why it is preferred to have a steady price rise. More resilient
