PoSA Status update:

Fixing up remaining bugs from 1.9.7.1 (dev build for testnet PoSA)

Fingers crossed we'll have 1.9.7.2 by morning and can continue onto community beta.

This is what's driving the train. The crazy thing is that it will only take 34btc on bittrex to drive this coin to 600k! That's pretty amazing. Just goes to show that everyone is holding their coins! I don't have much, but to see that opportunity is amazing. Especially when you look at the volume per day that is traded!

Hi guys,

After being some fan of DRK, I recently discovered CLOAK and and it quickly became my most favorite coin up-to-date. In my opinion it has really a huge potential and would like to show my support here.

I own a YouTube channel, dedicated to the music by Beethoven and have more than 30K subscribers and more than 25,000 viewers per day! Here is it: https://www.youtube.com/user/Lacrimosa12

I would be really happy to support this great coin by making some video about CLOAK and feature it in my channel, which will get a lot of viewers for sure.

I am still not sure about what kind of a video should it be, but something about promoting the CLOAK and in the same time directed to people with very little knowledge to the crypto currencies. Of course in the background will be the music by Beethoven, due to the specific YouTube channel

I'll hold you to that (;-) But you might be right. Apart from Cloak being a highest potential coin (or maybe because of that) we seem to be holding mostly. Another advantage of POS after nnn POW blocks. No continuous mercenary miner dumping. With the POS style 51% attack being hopefully fixed in Cloak and not any / many other coins have even figured the vulnerability out yet I can see this running too. I do expect some potential issues / correction when POSA goes beta whether real or strategic. That might be the last time to flip some coin for more if one dares.....

OneMarket (why not CloakMarket???) will be the killer app. Time to market is essential. Others are reading all the wp's etc and are pondering how to usurp. So any strategic bugs / delays etc etc that may be considered: don't let's not wast time. I'm not implying that this is or was the case at all here btw. But we all can and should think and I am pretty much convinced our Devs can. I have these kind of thoughts in my dark, greedy hours and it would be foolish to think others won't as well. I don't act on these btw. Karma is very real and ultimately one carries 100% responsibility for ones actions. That what freedom is all about. Choices...

Ok I have something to worry.

Look at my first stake:



It looks like a normal minting transaction. That is quite a relief to hear. I've always kept my coins on exchanges because I don't trust my computers. That's why I didnt really pay attention to the wallet problems that people have posted on the forum. The recent attack on Vericoin on Mintpal however  made me withdraw all my precious cloaks to offline wallet. Since then so much problem from not syncing, crashing to now wrong fork.

So how can I correct the chain?

Oh I am now unable to send my cloaks back to exchanges. After I click Yes to the pop up "Are you sure..." nothing happen! This happen to both wallets that I have on different computers!

No, it means that transaction of 1572.279471 coins was not successful in staking.  Therefore it is returned (debited) and continues to try to stake.  It doesn't necessarily mean he's on the wrong fork.  If that stake were successful, you would have seen a "Credit" in the amount of the stake interest in the transaction details, the stake amount of 1572.279471 coins would have been put in the "Stake" portion of the wallet until that transaction confirmed.  After that those 1572.279471 coins would split and begin staking again.

An unsuccessful stake is similar to an orphaned block in PoW mining.  It doesn't always mean you're on the wrong fork.

+1 . Hover over green tick on bottom right of wallet (must be in sync of course) and it'll give you current block number. Compare with cloak blockchain ( go to OP if url needed). If same you probably are not on wrong fork. Is the 'missing' balance shown in stake on wallet main panel ?

I am now able to send all my cloaks to exchange again. Turned out I have to Unlock wallet before making sending transaction, unlike usual wallet that asks for the pass phrase after I click Yes to confirm my sending request.

Oh I can't hold it anymore: CLOAK TO DA MOON!
