We are working on limiting big miners right now It will be ready in few hours
I suggest big miners to quit mining Minerals or you'll be losing hashpower soon
What will you do with the coins they have made? they will not be making coins, just more rejected shares Spin their tires so to speak.

It's every worker has to <50M to anti asic It's ok if they use bunch of VGA and total hash rate > 50M
And i think it's good if devs changes limit from 50 -> 25Mh/worker
I thought the real point was to make the coin more evenly distributed throughout the community. People running these farms generating 900 Mh/s are for sure going to dump the coin as soon as it hits exchanges. If we actually did try and limit the big farms it would be much more interesting price discovery on the markets. You are totaly wrong, don't compare farms with multipools. Farms are the biggest bagholders. We couldn't pay our electricity bill If we would dump our coins right after mining them. Only way for us to make some profit is to hold all coins until one of them reaches a good value, only than we start to drop slowly so the price wont be affected to much. Of course this happens only to 1 out of 20 coins more or less. For example, the last good profit we made with libertycoin, we had 780k and sold them for over 100 BTC, because we was holding them. Right now we hold tons of priceless coins, so please think a bit before you compare us with multipools. Btw, we are xdata on scv.minerals.pro

does this happen to anyone else in their sgminer:
network diff set to stratum detected new block network diff set to stratum detected new block network diff set to stratum detected new block accepted share accepted share network diff set to stratum detected new block network diff set to stratum detected new block, accepted share
it barley every comes up with accepted shares just the new block and diff, my other miners are getting loads of shares.
its still detecting the correct hashrate on pools so it must still be submitting shares??

What will you do with the coins they have made? they will not be making coins, just more rejected shares I know, but what will happend with the coins they have made until they get the rejected shares? depends on the limit development. If it takes too long we will have to start locking big hashers manually for 2 weeks in attempt to scare em away. We will announce 1-2 hours before we decide to take measure like this. But the issue with big miners have gone too far and we are going to fix it one way or annother

But the issue with big miners have gone too far and we are going to fix it one way or annother you should have had ip restriction in stead of worker. you had your opportunity. throw in the towel... ip restricion isn't the best way to do it. We wanted to prevent asics and multipools away from Minerals and we've done that. But IP limiting will filter out many people who want to have their share of Minerals. For example why is bad if a guy rents a small rig? With IP limit he won't be able to do that. Also if a large number of people use same IP they will be fileterd out as well The important goal for us is to distrubute Minerals fairly across everyone who is willing to mine. We don't want to filter out vast numbers of people, its not good for the coin. Asics and Multipools are an obvioius cheat so we don't have them. Small farms and rentals are somewhat fair as long they are small (less then 50 Mh/s)

Do this quick or the coin's whole idea is lost. Such a great idea if it succeeds ... Good luck :-)

Cmon now. Cheats? Seriously? Multipools are made up of hashers just like your 6 private pools, there is 0 difference.

I'm so disappointed you stoop to the level of binaryclock and that other twat from suchpool. Multipools don't help any coin, we all know that, especially your kind which is profit switching. Don't be a hypocrite by denying it. Albeit, all you do is offer a service, and you can't harm unless miners join it, but let's not pretend it's good for the coins you dump. So by cheat I'm pretty he meant in his context that you harm the coin. If pools really wanted to help coins they'd at least go the p2pool route.

"Limiting max hash rate per worker" is a joke.Farmer can use different worker name for each rig.You should limit the total hash rate per username.Even this can't prevent farmer. They can register more username if it's profitable. So why not go to exchange only after POW end. Boostcoin is a good model since it is on exchange after lauched about 7 days.
