Hi Minerals, do you know the betting system used on dota2lounge.com and branches betting on gosugamers.com ? I think these web-base betting system is easier and friendlier for everybody to use. IMO I dont feel like Im gonna use the wallet betting feature coz It looks like a small add on game not a real betting system. Yes Im a dota 2 player, and I used to bet on dota2lounge.com, it would be amazing if you can make such a great system like it, I dont ask anything just wondering because valve is not a 3ppl team, anyway good luck to you and hope you success Smiley

Soooo.. this wallet is some tabs and photos and it doesn't actually work?  And the price went up 400% when the wallet is still lacking the hardest and most important part which is making it actually work??  ...and people are asking why it's starting to go down...Careful.

The wallet works fine, and the market is doing even more fine, you dont trade all day long, do you?

Have you followed the instructions and downloaded the wallet? You can see for yourself it works.

For those of you think the new wallet with betting is a breakthrough... well you can do the betting right in your browser http://bet.minerals.pro/, the new wallet just added a new tab which contains a web frame that links to that webpage... which reminds me, is it the only project MIN has delivered in ONE MONTH?

And then let's check out the number of coins dev got, the 'Minerals Development Fund', it's 3127600 as block explorer shows http://explorer.minerals.pro/address/MVNWT9QtaryFdzexcHNyiJa3hzZB5Ja85P, so let's do the calculation, dev has received equivalent to 200 BTC of MIN at current price...

So why can't he even hire some developers to finish the projects he promised better and faster? hmmm I don't know... Well at least I think the so-called 'wallet with betting feature' should be processed locally, instead of just adding a webpage on the wallet...

Nothing FUD here, I'm holding MIN too, I just hope people could be more careful... don't forget AC, SC... Also an alarm for myself..

Cheers!

The wallet was closed source so that mining pools could be controlled. This means no transparency. A large amount of coins could have been taken early and there is no way to know if it was normal miners or the dev team.

200 BTC of MIN from the 'Minerals Development Fund? I didn't know there was a MDF. Amazingly lucrative for the dev/s. Well done!

Quote
The minerals way means to not release the source code and control the pool.  That leaves too much control in the hand of the dev to contract out hash rate and do a large instamine.  Not saying that is what happened. But in crypto it is about transparency and trust.

I know bitbook had betting when the site was up and I see there are other sites for betting too. Cool idea and a good way to get a pump. I won't be left holding the bag though.

Someone mentioned this coin would not only target the Starcraft II fanbase, but also the League of Legends and Dota 2 fanbases. Can anyone confirm that? And, if so, how do you feel that Minerals [MIN] compares to LeagueCoin [LOL]. How will you compete for that same audience?

You are spreading false information.
You ought to know how it all works. Do you know how POS works, how money send works? What is input, what is output? No, you don't.
Check this transaction: http://explorer.minerals.pro/tx/f71e01cff43d082f5ff43a13c10158b32c580221bf5e404a9e9bc641445605fb#i0
How can you explain this?
Money has been sent from the address of "fund" and got to the same address.
Turn on POS and watch your addresses.

now anon? Smiley

Betting service is not yet complete:
  • We are working on Starcraft 2 major tournaments live betting
  • Adding LOL and Dota 2 betting
  • Developing a promotion strategy to make Minerals and its betting services well known across SC2, LOL, Dota 2 gamers
now this is the best news ever, i don't know if anyone understands the enormity (if thats even a word) of having betting on LOL and especially DOTA2 ... dota2 is probably the biggest game for gamers and also held the largest tournament for gamers with a 1 million $ 1st prize , guys buckle up cause this dev obviously proved that he delivers ! this shit is gonna explode!!!

Dota2 tournament this year prize is already over $$10 million , and there are thousands of people in certain countries that can only bet via crypto

and whales accumulating.

some of the people here must be seriously new to crypto, expecting 2k,3k,4k daily floor rises. Crypto is volatile. Its a roller coaster ride. If you know the coin has true value, HODL it and watch value go up in time. Dont expect some scamcoin Pump & dump straight shot to 20-30k. If you want to panic sell, then go ahead and put it straight to my hand at these never-again cheap prices as Ive still got about 4.7 BTC I want to buy MIN with.

"oh no...why is my coin dropping? Shouldn't things only ever go up,up,up?!? time to panic sell now and buy back in at 3x the price later!"

I'm still surprised when I see people complain about falling prices, right after a coin rises 2-3x or more in price. Either they have some bizarre notion that prices go up in a straight line forever, or are simply going the fud route, trying to incite panic. Of course some people will take profit at some point.

Coin pumps, some folks take profit, trolls/fud come out, price lowers a bit .... then assuming no weirdness and dev is active, coin rises again.

lol i just read this. i'll give him the benefit of the doubt and blame it on lack of knowledge on the subject rather than FUD. I'll just assume he doesn't know how PoS works.   Wink Tongue
