My wallet is encrypted, but I was curious if having it unlocked for staking poses any security risks as far as possibly having coins stolen?  Also, any technical insight on the difference between "locked" and "unlocked" would be appreciated. 

Glad to be holding MIN and look forward to an exciting couple of months ahead.  From what i can tell, there's a great community forming behind a super competent dev with a clear vision of where this ship is going....... I'm hoping this so called ship is of the variety that travels outside our atmosphere as well

Minerals dev forum is up: http://forum.minerals.pro  It still not structured, so we open to suggestions.

1. The forum should have dedicated pages for each games supported by Minerals, so that the people can discuss about the games, players and put betting action on their respective pages. Also development and projects should also have have their own pages. Ex:- Look at NXT or NEM forums. You will get an idea.
2.  Minerals is going to be like Mastercoin or Blackcoin or maybe even achieve greater heights when the gaming community gets involved. Trust me the gaming industry is really huge. So, stepwise tutorials on wallet, betting and miscellaneous should have an extra space.
3. The forum should also contain a section for tournaments and ads hiring new gamers & developers. So the dev should hire more people to expand the Minerals empire.
Maybe in the future Minerals can implement the purchase of games inside the wallet itself??
3. Live feeds of games should be implemented somewhere on the client itself. This can be achieved within the next six months if the dev hires good developers  NO?? The wallet needs a bit of refining in the area of graphics. Modern games use mind-blowing graphics and to attract the gamer community we should have an eye-catching wallet with great graphics 
4. The dev should contact IGN, GAMESPOT, GAMEZONE, GAMESRADAR, etc. and do an extensive marketing campaign so that the world gets an idea about Minerals

is there legal problem of using starcraft photos?

Well there is a Blizzard video policy available here: http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/legal/videopolicy.html

It clarly states that we can use footage from blizzard game for non-commercial purposes. I.e. we can`t demand you pay for vewing the content. We also can not put blizzard logo`s or screenshots on something we sell unless blizzard confirm it. Basically our service is free to use, all content is available from the start so I don`t see any upcoming problem in this regards. Minerals itself have own and unique logo, and we do not selling anything Blizzard themed, so I believe we are safe.

 

As a community content creator, you are permitted to create video productions using Blizzard's Content, and to distribute them freely on your website, or on other websites where viewers can freely view your Production.

Neither you nor the operator of any website where your Production(s) may be viewed can force a viewer to pay a "fee" to be able to view your Production(s).

Also since minerals can be obtained for free I believe it can be subjected to

 

We understand that many third party websites have a "free" method to see their video content, as well as a 'premium' membership service that allows for speedier viewing.

For clarity, please note that as long as the website that hosts your Production provides a free method to allow viewers to see the Production, Blizzard Entertainment will not object to your Production being hosted on that site, regardless of the site's "for pay" premium service plans.

Still in case we will receive any official word from blizzard on account of Minerals - I will inform the community and we will find a way to solve it.

DRK with 5M also at 7-8$

You know why? Solid trust for both of those coins. That did not happen in 1 week, it take some months to build this trust.
Remember Minerals is new and dev are working hard to deliver NEW concepts. They are also respecting there time frame and they are INNOVATIVE!!!
