Who gets the advertising profit? Please tell me the profits are divided up amongst the holders of Maskcoin.
It's module no. 3 (Distributed P2P Advertising). When you click on the button, this dialog wil popup :

It works like this :
1. You choose the payment address (the address used to pay the network fee). The payment will go to the "network". By network, i mean a special address that receive all the network fees (a lot), pays the interests and miners....a kind o default public address. Nobody owns it. It looks like '000000000000......'.
2. You choose the number of hours the ad will be available.
3. Set a bid. Only the first 25 ads are displayed. They are displayed by the official client based on those bids. If you set a small bid, your ad will not be displayed by the clients.
4. Setup the title and the content of your new ad.
5. Choose a link. It can be an external website or an internal storefront page.
6. Click the green button.
A new packet will be broadcasted. The packet delivers a payload that instruct all the nodes to add a new ad to the ads table. Once included in a block, the payload is "commited" and the whole network will see your new ad. It usually happens within a minute. No central authority, no admin to check the content. Nothing. It's just you and the network....

Unlike Bitcoin blockchain that only holds information regarding transactions, the masknetwork is a distributed database that holds a lot of other info.
