how to make 1 kh/s per pc? this must be heavy machines no? xeon workstations or something similiar or am i wrong?
That or GPUs wouldnt it better to use 1 PC with many GPUs than 1 PC 1 GPU? I assume that was CPU. Yes it is generally better to build GPU rigs with multiple GPUs per computer to minimize cost for motherboard, CPU, PSU, etc.. The cost curve is a bit less severe with Monero since you can mine on the CPU as well so the CPU+MB isn't pure overhead.

There any good pool? If i have stable 2khs speed, what is my daily gain?
You can try monero.net (fee 0.5%, 100% goes to monero dev), but don't forget to use some backup pool. I think 2khs ~ 1.4...2 XMR per 24h.

Good time for mining with net hash rate down.

Good time for mining with net hash rate down. But it is still cheaper to buy for most people. For some people, the cost of mining is almost 0.

Hi, I've just setup a new pool on a linux VPS.
Does anyone have the best way to start/run bitmonerod on boot? Everything I seem to try breaks stuff or doesnt seem to work.
thanks for any info/help - i searched extensively, but came up completely short. :\

crontab -e add this at the end: @reboot screen -dmS monero /path/to/bitmonerod/bitmonerod
You can then connect to your bitmonerod with screen -r monero and disconnect with control-a d

Maybe you might want to say more? Infrastructure, fees, donations?...
|
Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's. This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

You can mine with a non AES but the HR is very low and the electricity costs will be greater than the value of the coin. I have a 2 core pentium and use the original LucasJones miner. I get 35 H/s using both cores, that is 100% cpu usage 0.04 Monero a day

Sometimes this isn't true if your electricity is extremely cheap or free (for example if you're using electric heat). But it is certainly true that the efficiency of hash/watt is low.
