I think this coin recovers pretty fast and you can make 10 btc out of one.

Theres lots of VC funding for projects like this. Take a look at Factom. Couldnt you sell some of your stakes to raise capital. I assume the Foundation members have large stakes in XCR.
That does make some sense..

I'v been with Crypti from IPO (as investor), even before Max and Olivier appears.
And here is what I have to say after 18 month: we fucked up in NOVEMBER 2014.

- failed on initial consensus protocol (november 2014);
- failed on open source vs closed source;
- failed on decentralization vs centralization (BOTH TECHNOLOGICAL AND EXECUTIVE)).

Some comments:

Quote from: GreXX
I think if anything, looking at the history and path that Crypti has taken to get to this point, we have shown our dedication and ability to successfully manage a project. We are delivering the final milestones we promised in our initial roadmap.
No, you promise custom block chains till the end of 2014 end you fucked up.

Quote from: karmacoma24
- I operate  36 / 101 delegates on the network (I have been the most loyal supporter of the network from day one).
Think about it, that's crazy centralization, even bitcoin mining pools is better then Crypti's delegates.

Quote from: bitseedmike
Overall, this seemed like a reasonable plan to me for the next phase of the project, but an alternate plan was also proposed to do a re-launch almost identical to what is now being done with Lisk to raise more funding to pay for continued development.
Foundation's main problems: SLOW, CLOSED and CENTRALIZED.

I can even say now the qualaties of successfull crypto project: FAST, OPEN SOURCE AND DECENTRALIZED.

I'm on mobile so I apologize if this is short or grammatically weird.

As to the "we fucked up" post above. We did. We acknowledged it and we did our best to get back on track and fix it. I believe we have done better than most teams would have when their initial product failed. That's just my stance. We are also open sourcing the tech, hence the fork conversation. In regards to executive, once it's open source, everyone will be able to contribute in any way they see fit. Executive speaking, we will probably continue to function as a foundation much like bitcoin does.

As far as the delegates, I can't make people come start and run a delegate. That's up to the community. Are you running one? Is everyone else here? It starts with you guys. We need your help and we even tried to setup rewards to get people to run delegates. It's been very frustrating for us as we don't want to run them all. On a positive note we have seen a steady increase in people starting community delegates and think we are on the right track.

The foundation wallet funds (xcr) were moved in case previous members had access to the account, which there was question whether they did or not. We decided to stay on the safe side as 1 million xcr of the foundations that was donated for the reward program was not returned to us as of yet and we wanted to make sure funds were safe.

As far as VCs and ways forward, we are pursuing all possible options and looking at various scenarios. Our platform is all but complete and ready for prime time, which is why we are seeing forks much like btc and nxt did. We will do our best to stay open and honest with all of you and share our thoughts and what options we are looking at.

Also, about the blog.

After our blog was use to post propaganda for a competing project without authorization from the foundation, we deleted the accounts of those responsible to avoid any future confusion. We don't want people to think lisk was an authorized or supported project or that we were somehow transitioning to it.

Unfortunately Boris didn't realize that when you delete a user account on ghost, it deletes all of their posts, which frankly is terrible design. We are attempting to restore from a previous backup. This was not intentional and we hope we can get most of the content returned to the blog.

50cent is right. He has been here from the beginning and been a loyal follower. We appreciate and value his opinion and sometimes, understand that people need to vent their frustrations. We all know we have had our bumps and bruises along the way, but we are here, we are delivering everything we promised and set out to accomplish, and I think that says a lot about us in the long term.

This is unhelpful and short-sighted

NOW is an opportunity to start anew. Even to an outsider it was obvious this projects main weakness was community, or lack thereof. All conversation should be open and if the members of the Foundation are serious they should get very vocal very fast.

One question after all this, is the 1 000 000 XCR prize for developing the DApp's, still on?

I'm trying to find out for sure. Initially we lost access to the 1 Million XCR in the Dapp fund account because Max owns the account. I believe we are working out a plan to transition it back to Foundation control. I am trying to get a concrete answer on whether or not we have the funds back.

Saying that someone fucked up is unhelpful and short-sighted. Nobody have promised anything to you personally, so to be mad at developers is a plain stupidity. You can be mad on rain, for instance, but it only shows lack of mind.

Oh Come on Oliver....... I am still here, and a member still of the Crypti Foundation.   I have not been posting here because there were no flamers lately that deserved my "wrath and wit".  Our community has been generally well behaved.

I do attend the weekly meetings on Skype.  There has been little for me to contribute, as the funds for Crypti are almost depleted.

True, little or none of my financial advice was taken.  Whether that was good or bad for the project is debatable, since the BTC value swung up and down, but mostly down.  In the end, it was the drop in value of BTC from $600 plus to $200 during the busiest development time for Crypti that hurt us the most.

I was invited to the Foundation because of my very informative posts at the birth of the project.  I am not a coder, having only learned "IBM machine language" in the 70s, and finding construction and contracting a better fit for my personality.  I have been broke twice, rich once, and in-between most of the time.  Now I am retired.  Occasionally I work in Calif as a Project Inspector on school construction.

I have been running miners since LiteCoin was the new kid on the block.  Still hashing for DASH, and running a XCR delegate.  My electric bill is 5 times higher when the miners are running, much to my wife's chagrin.

Everyone must follow their dreams, or grow old and regret not doing so.  (For example: Trump).

I wish you and Max success in whatever you do.

May the odds be forever in your favor.

You just sound like crying little girl that didn't get a doll, that's all. Everybody who deals with cryptos should be ready to lose everything. Even Bitcoin could be dead tomorrow. Just stop bitching when something goes wrong, it's a tough world.
