Big dump right now on Bter for XCR. Price dropped from last BUY at 1900 to 1400. Looks like around 14 BTC dumped all at once.

i should have set my buy walls lower! Some traders did not find out about the NXT heist as fast as we found out about it. They may be reacting to old news which we factored into our calculus some time back. Some traders are probably only reacting now to the BTER NXT issue, an issue that we know has already been very substantially resolved. I cannot offer any guarantee or warranty on the subject but it is nonetheless likely that those who sold at 1400 will feel ill when they see what the price rises to on wallet release. They will be unable to stop themselves calculating losses they made by selling too low. We have all been there. So too, in the near future, will they be there. Cowardice comes with a price tag. As an alternative, try surfing the inevitable price fluctuations and profit taking (this stuff always happens and is a natural and therefore healthy darwinian process) and enjoy the ride

I want to buy some Crypti, but I don't want to use BTER. Waiting Crypti on another exchanges (Bittrex, Mintpal).
Why would you trust Mintpal over BTER? Remember Mintpal was hacked and 30% of all the Vericoin was stolen.

I will keep most of my coins in my own wallet for the POS. I will keep only a few thousand to ten thousand on any exchange to take advantage of a price spike.

So all our BTC have been locked? There is noone here who can withdraw BTC? This might be very bad sign and I thought that the problem was solved. Are we dealing with virtual BTC like on Mt. Gox again? Can anyone confirm successful withdrawal or confirm that is unable to do so like the rest of us?

I'm not sure I'd trust MP over BTER necessarily, but with that moolah purchase I'd trust them a bit more. I really doubt moolah would want to kill their own purchase with lax security. My preference is sort of leaning towards Poloniex or Cryptsy over MP/Bittrex right now. I'd rather the coin built up slowly, so Polo could make some sense. Bittrex tends to be too pump/dumpy for my tastes (although of course it occurs on all exchanges).

So why our BTC are still locked? Nothing is locked I can withdraw/deposit? Are you spreading FUD for cheap coins or do you have a real issue? Am I the only one who can withdraw/deposit? are others having this issue? Edit: If you are having issue please show us a screenshoot.. blackout important info... please

Does anyone know what happened to the Syscoin launch? I'm hearing there is a lot of drama going on but I missed the developments apparently.
Looking thru the blog posts, this is what I have found out. If any of our blog readers are Syscoin investors, please correct me. It seems that Syscoin had an IPO and collected 250 BTC. The devs promised to set the BTC as a SELL WALL on an exchange, so it the price ever fell to the IPO price of around 500 satoshi, the original investors could sell and get their BTC back. Apparently, the devs have absconded with the BTC and are not answering email or blog posts. "I'm shocked, I tell you........ Shocked! !!" Nice blatant lying... First of all the IPO collected 1500 btc in total. Things did not work as expected at launch so people were upset. Moolah attempted to hand over 250 btc of the escrowed funds to the devs. The devs returned the 250 btc because they knew people were not satisfied with the launch yet. So no, the devs have not absconded with any BTC- quite the opposite- and they are responding and working on the issues..

Polo was hacked, although did pay back people over time. And I'm not aware of Cryptsy ever being hacked, although they have hardly been problem free. I was thinking of what would benefit the coin more in regard to slow growth when I mentioned poloniex. There is no guarantee any specific exchange will be more secure than another... although due to the fact bter just had its issues, of course it'd be wise to get on another exchange as soon as possible.
