ok. with this new delay, that means i'm going to be in the middle of the desert, with no communication, when the wallet launches, and for several days after.
is that a problem? can my XCR just sit in BTER for a while?
Yes, as long as you have a secure password to your Bter account. Did you enable 2FA? yes, i have 2FA at BTER Then all you have to worry about is the heat, snakes, biting flies, nighttime cold, and the lack of cell service if you get hurt. Burning Man by any chance?

Bter has over 60 coins on their exchange. XCR is not their top priority I presume. It will happen, just be patient.

So when is the likely E T A of when it will finally launch on Bter?
It would be hard to imagine that the lead dev will get off a 12 hour flight then start on integration?
What is so different between the testnet and the mainnet that would require only the lead dev to oversee?

Better delay than buggy launched and price crashing.
Price is stable right now. I expect to see a x5 increase after the launch.

SyRenity - Since the implementation is pause ATM, what is the Crypti team doing to utilize this down time?

Having had a career of managing managers, I find it is more expediant and trouble free if I set the goal and let them fiqure out the best way to move the ball. I would trust that Bter knows what they are doing. I also trust that XCR is not on their "A" list. Look at it from Bter's position.... they have all the XCR right now, and ALL the trading, and ALL the commissions from the trading. Once they complete the XCR funding of the wallets, much of the XCR will leave and trading will happen on other exchanges. Why be in a hurry to have less business?

for the people are questioning the Crypti team. Don't you think they wanted to have a successful launch? I'm sure they'd like to get things done as quick as possible..

A bit of a delay for wallets + other exchanges may not be the worst thing in the world. I think storj is ending their ipo tonight, and I expect it to be on exchanges shortly thereafter. It could be better to wait a bit and get the limelight rather than share it with another ipo coin.

We are completely at bters mercy. However, I would bet within 24 hours we launch.

Functional for custom blockchains and SDK Whether it will delay?
September is still the planned date, we will update once we past the launch stage. Important to note that we are continuing developing Crypti, and will introduce several optimizations and improvements already once we can launch. Is the forging on Windows ready?

As I wrote before, we currently using the time to perform some optimizations we planned to do this week anyhow, such as local storage size optimization and faster synchronization. We will update the change-log in case these improvements are stable enough to make it in the launched version.

The main reason for the Bter lead dev to be present, is to monitor the withdrawals and deposits from Bter side. Crypti a new technology and a new integration for Bter, hence we agreed that both sides will be present and monitor the ongoing transactions.

If the wallet was released on the 10th we all trade for a few days... price moves up the charts quickly... The hacker comes in and says while I'm here I will steal 50 million XCR as well...
XCR being stolen was not an issue. The hacker only had the password for the NXT wallet. No other coins were ever in danger. The hacker has compromised Bter servers directly, which forced them to change all wallets, BTC included. As NXT was taken due to (apparently) hard-coded password to NXT wallet, same could happen to Crypti, hence the safest way to prevent it was to regenerate the genesis block completely.

Hi SyRenity,
Thanks for the updates and hard work.
Have you been able to prepare a Windows/Mac wallet in the meantime?
