We are goint to 10k, so buy now, or regret in one week.
tell to people who bought at 3800 They shouldn't worry. If you look back in the thread, you'll see this conversation happening at the 1400 price point, then at 1800, then at 2400, now at 3800... it'll get there again and become the balance point sooner or later, if this coin really continues growing and delivering. If anybody's curious, the final numbers from my pre-launch sweep buys are 5.12M XCR purchased at an average of 2950 satoshi each, starting from zero XCR in hand at a 2200 satoshi exchange rate. That's almost exactly three XCR IPO maximum individual allotments for a 5% total stake at 3.35 times the IPO price of 880 satoshis. I missed the IPO several weeks ago. Time will tell if I got a hodl deal today, or not. For way of comparison, an IPO 5% stake in NXT (its maximum individual allotment) cost 1 BTC at 2 satosi each. A week after the NXT IPO closed, 2Kool4Skewl purchased one-third of a NXT IPO maximum individual share at 100 satoshis each - a 50X price bump in seven days. Today NXT is 6000 satoshi each after coming down from a recent high of around 12,000 satoshis each. 2Kool4Skewl made 60-120 times his money after paying a 50X premium for NXT a week after its launch. NXT itself has gone up by a factor of 3000-6000 since its launch 10 months ago. Remember that XCR is ten times rarer than NXT. If XCR is as successful as NXT has been to date, its unit price in ten months should be ten times NXT's price now, or 60,000-120,000 satoshi. And XCR has 750 BTC ($375,000) from the IPO for dev team "salaries" and a 15% holdback of coins (currently worth $150,000 or so) for product development - neither of which NXT had at its start. There are other advantages in XCR's favor as well. Most of all, XCR has an emphasis on the CRYPTOCURRENCY part of "2nd Generation Cryptocurrency", with the intent of having merchants accept the coin so it can become electronic money among users. In contrast, NXT is mainly focused on various crypto asset exchanges. Nothing wrong with that - but there's a lot more people with smartphones out there who want to buy a hamburger than an electronic stock certificate. I'm hodling. XCR is going in a new and exciting direction, following the "road not taken" by NXT - and that will make all the difference. Thank you for your analysis on XCR. I enjoyed reading this.

Nice post and interesting viewpoint. Too often with cryptos I have found myself thinking how I didn't get the best price on a coin -- perhaps I missed an IPO or a dump -- rather than thinking that even at a somewhat higher price, it may still be a really good value. Something I should keep in mind more often. And I knew the Nxt IPO was cheap (unfortunately it was before my time here), but didn't realize it was that cheap.

BTCNext was not just a genius. He was a MAD genius. You gotta be crazy to leave that much money on the table. His allocation scheme is one of NXT's greatest flaws - a large number of whales that cash out and cause a price crash every time NXT gets too high. This has definitely held the price of NXT down artificially.

What does Crypti have and what does it need to be the best.
Has
- Web Wallet - Strong Algo's - Excellent Dev Team - Popular Exchange
Needs
- Community Vision - Block explorer - Software Wallet with build in Node/Foraging Abilities - Simplified Foraging - Basic Apps to open door to more complex Apps. People need to see what can be done so their mind can wander. - SDK Launch/Restful API?
People need the tools to build. The foundation layer is great and the dev team will improve it over time and add additional features but its up to community to truly make it vibrant by using and creating. There are alot of opportunist that are waiting to build upon Crypti given the chance.

This has definitely held the price of NXT down artificially. That is what I always thought, him and CfB had so many opportunities to make Millions but turned it down. Seems like to some progress is more important that profit. I think he knew no matter how you disperse NXT it would be spread around. Whales will always accumulate mass quantity so holding off for a best distro was foolhardy. Even if you distribute to the entire population of BTT then you still ony scratch the surface of the widespread distro.

I'm trying to setup a node on AWS but i doesn't appear to be synchronizing up. When I tail the logs all I see is: tail -f /home/ubuntu/.forever/3xUM.log connect: multipart: use parser (multiparty, busboy, formidable) directly connect: limit: Restrict request size at location of read Provide secret phrase to start forging... Crypti started: 0.0.0.0:6040 I'm able to open up my local node wallet http://<node ip>:6040/ but don't see any of the funds transferred to the address. I see my funds there when i look it up on the main host wallet https://wallet.crypti.me. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Bought some XCR. I smell XCR would be next NXT. XCR wallet is easier to use like the blockchain wallet, I like it.

We have a lot of ideas and in 24 hours we will have the funds to hire the additional team members to make it all a reality. When we release our roadmap and start talking about our plans and what we will be developing, I think everyone will start to see the vision.
If nothing else, the delays and frustrations should show that we aren't going anywhere and are dedicated to Crypti. We are all in and I'm glad to hear so many of you are as well. I look forward to all of the collaborative opportunities we are going to have down the road. I am excited to be the community manager and get to work with all of you! It's going to be a blast!

Crypti will get it done. Right now XCR is at building stage just like NXT was back in the days. The future is bright for young Crypti.
I have no doubt Crypti can build a shuttle to the moon but what I'm saying is they may not have any people to colonize and build the city there. Yet. I'm just presenting points to get people thinking on what they can create using Crypti.

Hire a CEO and CTO? I believe the Foundation Board will handle these jobs.

According to my spreadsheet scan of the visible Bter Sell book, anybody with 130 BTC could pick up 3.5M right now - average price 3700 satoshi. That's 30% less than I bought at 25% more than I paid for unit price just six hours ago.
It may not look like it on a minute-by minute basis, but the XCR people are willing to sell is drying up fast and its price is going up fast.
