Why do you say that NEM/Mijin have the advantage? Can you explain further the technical details of NEM and VaultOS and also make a comparison of both? I would like to gauge the pros and cons of the two platforms.

I have Java 8 running on my 64 bit machine, and NIS and NCC working fine.  I keep receiving Java update notifications, but have not updated Java in case it causes compatibility issues with the current configuration of NEM.  Would the latest version of NEM wallet be compatible with the latest version of Java?

I dont know much about VaultOS to compare, but it appears its using smart contracts much like Ethereum, so im interested to know how they plan to use this without the inherent security flaws that smart contracts face with Ethereum.

Thanks. I'm not sure what all plays into their decisions about these things, but the challenge of convincing them may be a good reason to stay focused. For now, request XEM be added to margin trading and lending. Request early; request often.

Then once that happens move on to requesting XEM and national currency pairs.
