A month ago XEM was trading at 362 satoshis, now trading at around 1000 satoshis so that is an improvement looking at the bigger long term picture.

Please keep the requests to add XEM to margin trading and lending coming into Poloniex. Use this form--it only takes 30 seconds: https://poloniex.com/featureRequest

Lending will provide another way to fairly safely accumulate XEM. Or... if you're good at margin trading, then you can make some big profits with it.

I don't personally think that margin trading helps a coin's development at all.

margin trading brings volatility, which is bad for using nem for it's value for development (for ex. the comming Foundation)

Im sorry guys but good for trading is not good for nem.

I get your perspective, but i take the view that trading is like self-advertising and exposure, which long term is good for NEM. It is also not right to tell others what they can and cannot do with their money/investments/assets. Thats leading down the very road that crypto was attempting to liberate us from.

Once again im killing myself i never sold my stake when it was high and i could have bought back now.
However i did not want to take that risk if it continued to rise and it pretty much owes me nothing so i still have not lost anything.

I would have probably bought back when it was still higher anyway so would not have gained much.

This project has some real long term goals and there is no reason we cant hit $1 billion marketcap.

We should be worth more than steem as it is, i think once the hype dies off with steem, the markets will settle a bit more Smiley

It is this kind of thinking that the sharks are exploiting. They want you to take unnecessary risk and make the wrong moves in the market. They profit from the mistakes of others. So it is good to think of every scenario before you make a move.

Activity from Japan and Malaysia is increasing rapidly.  NEM IO is almost a top 20,000 website in Japan.  In past days NEM became a top 10,000 website in Malaysia.

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/nem.io

Anyone who is selling their NEM right now will regret it shortly.   Grin  Who's selling when adoption is taking off in Japan and Malaysia?  Shocked

Yes i agree, and there seems to be alot attempting to push the price down, it wont last though!  Cheesy

I've made the mistake of trying to trade crypto, selling it all, and just ending up losing more than I would've done if I just bought and held. But at the same time buying and holding isn't optimal either. So what should you do? Sell bits and pieces here and there. 5-10% at a time on the way up. And if you think it's a long term solid investment; buy the dip(s). Also in bits and pieces, not "buy aaall the XEM at the first dip". Save money for dip #2, #3, #4.

Yes and no 1st you will never know where is dip. (if you know you should be on bahamas drinking tequilas with hotgirls ).
Getting that point of bottom is bigger luck that anything till we don't know any fundamets like are in stock market
where you can see that if there is demand for  goods or not here we live in virtual world were can anything happened.

That's AWESOME advice. I had to figure this out the hard way too.

Also, for all you out there who think this would be a good thing, please keep requesting that Poloniex add XEM to margin trading and lending, as this would equal another great way for us long term investors to grow our stash.
