Because marketcap is so high already and price isn't even 1 cents.. doesn't that mean at .10 cents it would be close to etherum's market cap? What i'm trying to say is.. aren't we already near the top in terms of where the price can go?

No way!
lol

We have a very high chance of reaching ETH's marketcap.

And i wouldnt even say $1 billion marketcap is anywhere near the top either.

Most people in crypto think the ceiling is $10 billion, only because Bitcoin - after a devastating MtGox - has sat at $10 billion for a couple of years now.  IMHO if any crypto were to hit $10 billion, and there are no fiascos, then we'll see a progressive rise to $XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX marketcap.

Still this is day dreaming right now.  Either Japan or Malaysia has to wake up and start buying NEM like crazy for NEM to unseat Bitcoin.

what NEM related projects are based in Malaysia? I've seen people mention it as a potential boom market for NEM before, but I don't know what's going on there (Japan I do)

One of the mistakes people make here is thinking everything hinges around the minuscule shit hole that is the cryptocurrency scene.  Think how few people in the world understand and use it.

Something inspired by Bitcoin could sweep past it if it's benefits were a no brainer and it was offered to people who can make practical use of it. There are millions upon millions of them who will never care about ETH or its siblings or ever hear of them.

Now guess what the Nem approach is?

According to website measuring metrics, Malaysia has the highest per capita visitors to NEM IO.  NEM IO is a top 10,000 website in Malaysia. Dragonfly / Cryptoapex creator is from Malaysia and has been reaching out to a lot of crypto enthusiasts in his area.

Japan is a huge population in itself but I feel Malaysia, if NEM could get a foothold there, is relatively wealthy by world standards and it would be able to influence Singapore and the rest of South East Asia.  Malaysia is a pretty good market to be growing in.  Grin

I like them all. Catapult, Cryptoapex, Nano wallet, AltNemo, Mijin, Dragonfly, Mobile apps, etc... all will be important pieces in the future ecosystem.

It is easier to harvest a block with an account of 1million XEM  or with 10 accounts of 100k XEM? It is the same?

Same probability local harvesting and delegated?

And last obvius maybe absurd question 🙈

It is possible to be harvesting with same account but in 2 computers at same time?

Would like to see the sell side less stressed than it is now, before i buy more, ATM too heavy on sell side.

If you don't know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly

Price is dropping to 1000 satoshi again
When it was 30 we were supporting each other.

When it was 300 noone was complaining.

When it was 700 people was happy.

Now it's 1000 and everyone is whining.

WTF

When it was 2500 people __________________.

This is a great point. I never ever fail to be amazed how short memories are and how emotional people are.

If two short months ago you'd have written about people whining about a 1000 satoshi price level people would assume you were off your tits on drugs.

It just shows that there were a lot of squares who bought at 2000+ satoshis. Now they are very anxious and couldn't wait patiently for the next rally. Usually the result to this is they will sell at the time just before the rally. It is the epitome of a loser in trading. They buy high and sell low.

Zero sum game. Without them, there will be no winners. Think about it.  Grin

I was posting "dropping below 1000 satoshi again" with the intention of telling people they might have a good buy chance.
I wasnt planning to react to the reactions (becouse I didnt want to lower myself to their level) on my post but as they are so many, I cant resist.

After the rise to 2500 people were saying they would buyin at 1200 satoshi, 1000, ...again.  And I wanted to give them a reminder of the great opportunity.
The reactions that were posted (short memory, emotional, anxious, loser, whining,..) are pure lack of intelligence and a short-sighted mind. Let's leave it at that.
Maybe this NEM community isn't so great after all.

I have lots of XEM already wich I bought in at 365satoshi, so no need for me to whine.

I think its more that it sounded like a troll in your early post, dont take it personally but next time, perhaps mention that its a good time to buy more and we would not have taken it the wrong way Smiley
Anyway, im currently buying more XEM with the STEEM ive earned on steemit! Cheesy

what is with people and all these obvious garbage coins like eth classic?

Then everyone wonders why there is no mass adoption of crypto, people need to stop supporting all this garbage.

NEM is one the few trying to reach for mass adoption.

Poloniex: All users who had an Ethereum balance at the moment of the fork now have a matching balance of ETC Posted by MobyDick at 2016-07-24 04:24:12
.

So, was there a planned fork in Ethereum or was it accidental?

Could the number of (Edit: accidental) forks be used to measure the cryptocurrency's quality?
How many forks have been in NEM ?

Ethereum hard fork has been done because biggest Ethereum's application (DAO) was hacked. In this case the hard for is a bad sign.
A hard fork was done in NEM time ago to introduce new features (good thing)

Soft forks instead happens when nodes have problems synchronizating each other. This may happen because of poor software so is quite bad.
I don't remember any soft fork since NEM launch (a few happened in test net before launch).

Neither do I remember any other NEM forks than that one hard fork.

Generally forks may mean bad things: software quality is not so good or features have not been planned completely. The latter is an understandable reason, when the project is in its early years, like NEM had.

Ethereums' quality is not visible in the exchanges' volumes Smiley
