Don't forget to tell your friends about NEM before it goes mainstream-expensive  . Most of my friends ignore my crypto-recommendations for many years, but when bitcoin hits $1000 they eager to listen about 'new technologies' ). Buy XEM as much as you can, before you tell your friend about NEM.  Buy xem, start harvesting, tell friends and convince them to harvest too. If they do not act soon, they will regret that they have ignored xem. Buy while the price is still very much affordable. |

Hello NEM community . I want to start NEM SuperNODE on VPS HostUs . I buy VPS server HostUs , OS Ubuntu 16.04 64 Bit , RAM 2Gb , but i don't know what next to do . Someone can help me how manage VPS server , how install NEM client on VPS server , how run NEM SuperNODE on VPS HostUs ? Thanks .

A recent news article claimed it's going to be lifted around june/july.
Is there any recent news on this development ?

More important is the Japanese Bitlicense that they're proposing. It looks incredibly expensive with plenty of ongoing costs too. Despite the zero fee volumes, crypto is nowhere in Japan and this would make it even more nowhere. |

I'd disagree , I think we have the largest volumes in terms of 24 hours trade happening in Japan. |

Hi everyone, new NEMber here I've taken a great interest in this coin and invested a decent chunk of money into it last month. I think it has a great potential especially with the upcoming Catapult release. That being said, I couldn't find anywhere the approx. release date. I presume it would be released in the second half of 2017? I also agree with a few people here that NEM should do a better job with promoting their coin. I believe it to be superior than other "successful" projects yet it is rarely talked about. Looking at Dash, they are doing a great job on this front. Dash is all over Youtube and it recently more than tripled in value even though people were calling it a pump & dump. Almost all popular altcoins grew 10%+ right after ETF but NEM just stayed the same as last week, it just shows people don't ever hear about it. I really hope that will change with the release of Catapult and that it will be properly marketed like it deserves. Just to add this last thing. They could also do a better job with the website, it doesn't really show any of the features unless you click on them and you're greeted with a wall of text. And a lot of technical language is used that new members might not understand. It wouldn't hurt to put those tx/s testing numbers being compared to other cryptos or something along those lines that show superior performance. Something new members can easily read and understand. |

I'd disagree , I think we have the largest volumes in terms of 24 hours trade happening in Japan.
You missed the magic words - zero fee. That automatically makes any volume statistic completely and utterly irrelevant. And they'll all be Chinese refugees. |

NEM is actually penetrating the real world and leaving the crytpo pump n dump schemes behind. A couple of big companies are working with NEM and if they and others decide to really use it, NEM may be one of the first cryptos after bitcoin to really hit "mainstream" (I know, bitcoin is not even mainstream yet). |
