I just imagine average people wiht less experience and less resilience in the crypto world...
no good at all for them as an experience with a coin... enough to move to other coins
You have complicated everything yourself. Any newcomer can easily open an account in Nem, buy XEM on stock exchanges and withdraw their money in NanoWallet.
I bought without problems for 20 minutes on bittrex more than 80 000 xem and sent it to my NanoWallet. The security level of NanoWallet satisfies me.

you are out of topic dear....
I don't speak about bying on exchange and send to an EXISTING wallet.
I was refering to installing a new wallet with the confusing guides NOT up to date,
the accurate stuff to install (confusing and the most accurate beeing in small while
the non accurate one on top of the list to download.
ten telling me that I was wrong with what I got and was viewing in my folders....
confirmed by someone else....
providing not up to date info for support.
I don't blame, I want to explain how it went wrong and how important it is
to provide accurate info / links / support.
It seems that the reception for those comments are not taken in the positive way
to improve and fix which should be when this is pointed out.... too bad ;-)
If at least I did not loose my time to make those comment hoping to help to improve
and that my bad experience would serve for the others to come have a better experience.
Good luck
